Precautions

1. Before construction and installation, all pipeline components should be stored in a clean and dry place to ensure that the components are not damaged.

2. It is strictly prohibited to bend the hose before installation to avoid abnormal damage to the wrapped pipe caused by multiple bends. At the same time, it is not allowed to forcefully stretch or hammer it with heavy objects as shown in the figure.

3. If bending is required during hose installation, the distance between the starting and ending points of the bending and the hose joint should be no less than 4-5 times the nominal size of the straight pipe section, and the bending radius R should not be less than 2 times the diameter of the hose. (See the following figure and Table 4)

4. Flexible hoses are strictly prohibited from being used as grounding electrodes or as grounding wires for electrical equipment grounding systems.

5. If the hose is used in strong earthquake environments or ultra-high temperature environments, it should be contacted with the local gas pipeline management department and necessary measures should be taken to ensure the safety of hose use.

6. After unpacking the product, the product specifications and quantities should be checked against the packaging list, and any accidental damage that may occur during transportation should be inspected.

7. The hose needs to be installed by gas professionals.

8. When cutting pipes with a pipe cutter, attention should be paid to the flatness of the pipe mouth, without cracks, burrs, dents, defects, flatness, or other defects to avoid damaging the sealing ring and causing air leakage. If there are defects, they must be re cut before connecting.

9. When cutting and peeling off the coating, special tools such as skin cutters, pipe cutters, grinding wheels, files, etc. must be used.

10. It is best to use protective pipes for pipes buried in walls, and protective plates must be used for parts that may be nailed down.

11. Quick connectors can be used multiple times, but the sealing gasket cannot be reused.

12. Gas pipelines laid in living rooms and corridors should not have joints.

13. The buried corrugated hose must pass the airtightness test before it can be buried. Bellows should not come into contact with various metals and wires. If it is unavoidable, insulation materials should be used to separate them.

14. The hose should avoid contact with water and sharp objects from scratching the sheath and corrugated body.

15. Prohibit installation and use in places with vibration or impact; Do not bury under the bathhouse.

16. Strictly follow the "Construction and Quality Acceptance Specification for Urban Gas Indoor Engineering CJJ94-2003" and also comply with the relevant national standards currently in effect.


Installation steps

A、 Connection method of hose and Capo style quick connector

1. Peel off the coating layer of the buried pipe, and at the front end of the buried pipe with about 12 ripples (about 50mm for 15A pipes), use a special peeler to gently rotate counterclockwise for 2-3 turns to break the PVC coating layer.

2. Cut the corrugated pipe using a professional pipe cutter, and cut the corrugated pipe at the position where 3 ripples are retained. The cut end face should be neat, free of burrs, dents, defects, ellipses, and other defects.

3. Insert the hose with three exposed corrugations into the Capo type joint nut, and split the copper snap ring into two parts through the reserved crack in the middle. Clamp the two semi-circular copper snap rings onto the 2-3 corrugations from the end of the corrugated pipe, so that the copper snap rings completely wrap around the corrugated hose.

4. Grasp the Capo style quick connector with your hand, apply slight force, and pull the quick connector vertically upwards to make the two copper snap rings enter the designated position at the tail of the Capo style quick connector, and then install the adapter.

5. Tighten the nut and quick connector connection with a wrench until it is in place, and the entire installation process of the Capo style quick connector is complete.

6. Connect gas valves and accessories with threaded connections.


B、 Flexible hose and tapping type quick connect method

1. Take non fixed lengthGas corrugated pipeCut the corrugated pipe to the required length.

2. Ensure that the corrugated end face of the hose is flat and meets the requirements after cutting, and fit the quick connector onto the hose as shown in the following figure.

3. Place the hose with 3 exposed ripples into the flat mouthed container and ensure it is in place, then close the container

4. Use a hammer to strike the flat mouthing device vertically 2-3 times (as shown in the figure below), and note that the corrugated pipe port must be flat after being struck with the hammer.

5. Clamp the first ripple under the corrugated pipe port with two copper cards respectively, as shown in the following figure.

6. Slide the nut to the copper card, clamp the copper card, and then install the sealing gasket to connect the valve or other accessories.
