Compared with centrifugal pumps (milk pumps): Centrifugal pumps have been widely used due to their simple structure and low cost. It has the following main differences compared to rotary pumps: chemical pumps, sanitary pumps

(1) Rotary pumps belong to positive displacement pumps, and the conveying flow can be accurately controlled or easily made into variable displacement pumps. The output flow rate of a centrifugal pump cannot be controlled and decreases with increasing resistance; Rotary pumps have strong self-priming ability, while centrifugal pumps must be filled with liquid before operation.

(2) The speed of the rotary pump is very low, usually between 200rmp and 600rmp, and the conveyed material is smoothly output without damaging its composition. The speed of centrifugal pumps is very high, and the conveyed material is subjected to strong impact and centrifugal force. Therefore, centrifugal pumps often produce inconsistent material composition when conveying mixtures, resulting in a decrease in the quality of the finished product. And the universal conveying pump is the best choice to solve this problem, so it is particularly suitable for conveying mixed materials and even materials containing solid particles.

(3) Rotary pumps can be used to transport substances with high viscosity, so they are also known as colloid pumps. Centrifugal pumps do not have this characteristic.

(4) Rotary pumps can be easily made into varieties with high output pressure, such as 150kgf/cm2, suitable for long-distance or high resistance quantitative transportation.

Stainless steel rotor pumps are often greased, and electric oil drum pumps operate at high speeds, making lubricating grease easy to evaporate. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the lubrication at the bearings clean and pay attention to replacement. High viscosity rotary pumps should be regularly inspected and repaired, and electric oil drum pumps should be regularly inspected and repaired. The power cord, internal wiring, plug, switch should be checked for good condition, insulation resistance should be normal, the brush tail seat should be loose, the commutator should be in good contact with the electric brush, the armature winding stage should be expanded, and there should be moderate open circuit in the stator winding, as well as damage to the bearings and rotating parts. Attention should be paid to the insulation resistance of high viscosity rotary pumps. For electric pumping pumps that have been unused for a long time or used in humid environments, the insulation resistance of the winding must be measured with a 500 meter before use. If the insulation resistance between the winding and the motor casing is less than 7, the winding must be dried.

Stainless steel rotary pumps should be stored in a dry, clean, and non corrosive gas environment during daily use. Save each part properly and replace the same parts. When disassembling and inspecting high viscosity rotor pumps, each part should be well preserved. Special attention should be paid to the explosion-proof surface of the explosion-proof parts, including insulation pads and sleeves, which should not be damaged. If there is damage, new identical parts must be replaced, and substitute materials with lower performance than the raw materials or parts that do not meet the original specifications should not be used. During assembly, all parts should be installed in their original positions without omission.
