2、 Basic principles
The TDR-4 soil conductivity sensor measures the dielectric constant by emitting high-frequency electromagnetic waves, allowing for the calculation of soil conductivity. High frequency electromagnetic waves simultaneously measure the capacitance and conductivity characteristics of the measured object. The capacitance characteristics reflect the soil moisture content, while the conductivity characteristics reflect the soil salt content.
