Company Development History

In 1875, Toshiba Corporation Tanaka Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established;

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation was established in 1921;

In 2000, Toshiba and General Electric jointly established Toshiba General Electric Automation Systems (TGAJ), specializing in factory system engineering (steel, paper, etc.). In 1999, Toshiba and Mitsubishi Electric jointly established TMA Electric (TMAE), a joint venture mainly producing high-capacity motors;
