The sensing resolution is more than 10 times higher than traditional reed tube sensors. The basic structure consists of three parts: detection rod, circuit sensing element, and float. During measurement, the circuit sensing element generates a current pulse, which is transmitted downwards along the probe rod and generates a circular magnetic field. There is a float outside the detection rod, which moves up and down along the detection rod with the change of liquid level. Due to the presence of a set of permanent magnet steel inside the float, it simultaneously generates a magnetic field. When the electromagnetic field meets the magnetic field of the float, a "twisted" pulse is generated. Convert the time difference between the "twisted" pulse and the current pulse into a pulse signal to calculate the actual position of the float and measure the liquid level. It can also be used in conjunction with the UZ type magnetic liquid level gauge.
Measurement principle:The magnetostrictive liquid level gauge is mainly composed of electronic components, magnetostrictive waveguide wires, floats, and other parts. During measurement, electronic components generate a current "excitation" pulse, which travels down the waveguide at the speed of light and forms a circumferential Ampere ring magnetic field around the waveguide. When the annular magnetic field generated by the excitation pulse current meets the bias magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet inside the float, the magnetic field around the float changes, causing the waveguide wire made of magnetostrictive material to generate an induced torsional wave pulse at the position of the float. The torsional wave propagates at the speed of sound from the generation point to both ends of the waveguide wire. The torsional wave transmitted to the end is absorbed by the damping device, and the signal transmitted to the excitation end is received by the detection device. The time difference between the pulse current and the torsional wave is measured by electronic components, and then multiplied by the propagation speed of the torsional wave in the waveguide wire (fixed amount of 2800m/s), the distance between the position where the float generates the torsional wave and the measurement reference point, that is, the position of the liquid surface, can be accurately calculated.
