1、 Product Overview
Magnetic float level meterIt is a direct reading level instrument based on the principle of magnetic coupling, also known as a magnetic flip column level gauge or magnetic flip plate level gauge. Suitable for measuring liquid levels or boundaries in open or closed containers. According to Article 6.3.2 of the current "Design Specification for Storage and Transportation System Tank Areas in Petrochemical Industry" SH/T 3007, a set of remote instruments and a set of local indicating instruments should be installed for measuring the liquid level of pressure storage tanks. Glass plate level gauges should not be used for local indicating instruments. According to the requirements, magnetic float level gauges have replaced glass plate level gauges and become the ideal choice for on-site liquid level indication instruments.
The magnetic float level gauge product has a reasonable structure, intuitive and clear display, and can be optionally equipped with a level transmitter and level switch to achieve signal remote transmission function. This product has been widely used in liquid level measurement and process control in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, food, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, water treatment, etc.

2、 Measurement principle
Magnetic float level meterIt uses a magnetic float as the measuring element. When the liquid level in the storage tank changes, it will cause the float with yong long magnetic steel to move along with the liquid level. The movement of the float linearly transmits the liquid level change to the magnetic flip column (plate) in the indicator through the principle of magnetic coupling. The magnetic flip column (plate) rotates 180 ° to change the indicator color, thereby achieving the purpose of indicating the liquid level in the storage tank.

6、 Remote transmission unit
1. Detection form of remote signal transmitter
Remote signal transmitters include two forms: reed resistance level transmitters and magnetostrictive level transmitters.
2. Dry spring resistance liquid level transmitter
The remote transmission unit is tied to the outside of the measuring cylinder, and when the liquid level in the storage tank changes, it will cause the float with yong long magnetic steel to move along with the liquid level. The movement of the float causes the reed switch corresponding to the liquid level value to close under the action of the float's magnetic field, resulting in changes in resistance and current. Through the analog-to-digital conversion circuit, a 4-20mA signal is output, thereby achieving the purpose of remote transmission of liquid level signals. When applied in explosion-proof situations, the dry spring resistance type liquid level transmitter should use an explosion-proof housing.

3. Magnetostrictive liquid level transmitter
The remote transmission unit is tied to the outside of the measuring cylinder, and emits current pulses to form a circular magnetic field along the magnetostrictive line inside the measuring tube. When the liquid level in the storage tank changes, it will cause the float with yong long magnetic steel to move along with the liquid level. The magnetic field of the float magnetizes the magnetostrictive wire along the axial direction. A twisted pulse is generated at the superposition of two magnetic fields. The remote transmission unit detects the transmission time of the pulse and processes it through a processor to output a 4-20mA signal through an analog-to-digital conversion circuit, thereby achieving the purpose of remote transmission of liquid level signals. When applied in explosion-proof situations, the magnetostrictive liquid level should be equipped with an explosion-proof shell.
