Overview
The manufacturing of the Ukrainian kinematic viscometer complies with the requirements specified in the industry standard SY/T 5651 "Technical Conditions for Kinematic Viscosity Testers of Petroleum Products" of the People's Republic of China, and is suitable for measuring the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (referring to Newtonian liquids) under a constant temperature condition in accordance with the provisions of the Chinese standard GB/T 265 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity and Calculation of Dynamic Viscosity of Petroleum Products".

1、 Main technical features
1. The Ukrainian kinematic viscometer is a specially designed, temperature controlled instrument with an accuracy of ± 0.01 ℃ and digital display for kinematic viscosity testing.
2. Adopting a hard glass cylinder and an insulated outer cylinder (referred to as a double cylinder), it has good insulation performance and clear observation of the sample.
3. Adopting a desktop and all-in-one design, the instrument has good overall integrity and is easy to use.
4. Using an electric stirring device, the temperature inside the bathtub is uniform.
5. The biggest feature is: full spray coating treatment, durable and long-lasting; Double layer cylinder structure, high-precision temperature controller, temperature control accuracy up to ± 0.01 ℃; Pin's capillary viscometer type.

2、 Main technical parameters and indicators

3、 Operational requirements
1. The instrument should be placed on a flat and stable experimental platform.
2. The liquid measured by this instrument is a Newtonian liquid, and its viscosity is independent of shear stress and shear rate.
3. Within different testing temperature ranges, different constant temperature bath liquids should be used for the constant temperature bath.
4. When testing the sample, an appropriate capillary viscometer should be selected according to the temperature of the experiment, and the flow time of the sample in the capillary must be no less than 200 seconds (if the user uses a capillary viscometer with an inner diameter of 0.4mm, the flow time in the capillary viscometer should be no less than 350 seconds).

4、 Main structure
The schematic diagram of the Ukrainian motion viscometer is shown in Figure 1, and the circuit schematic is shown in Figure 2.
1. Double layer constant temperature bath: The inner layer adopts a hard glass cylinder with a diameter of 300mm × 300mm, and the outer insulation sleeve is an organic glass cylinder with a diameter of 360mm × 285mm. There is an air insulation layer between the inner and outer layers. During the test, in order to prevent water vapor from entering the insulation layer and affecting the observation, dry air can be filled into the insulation layer (the inflation equipment is provided). There are two small holes on the bathtub cover, which are used to place the thermometer and sensor. In addition, there are four capillary mounting holes that can simultaneously detect two sets of parallel samples.
2. Lighting system: This instrument is equipped with 220V energy-saving lamps, providing a guarantee for clear observation of the operation of the capillary viscometer.
3. Temperature control system:
⑴ Temperature sensor: Industrial platinum resistance, with a division number of Pt100.
⑵ Temperature controller: A high-precision temperature controller designed specifically for high-precision temperature control in constant temperature baths. Adopting a four and a half digit digital display control method and PID control, the temperature control is fast, the response is fast, and the overshoot is small, with a temperature control accuracy of ± 0.01 ℃.
⑶ Heating system: auxiliary heating, used as an accelerated heating device; Temperature controlled heating, set to maintain bath temperature accuracy.
4. Mercury thermometer: a rod type mercury thermometer, with a temperature range of (0-50) ℃ and (50-100) ℃, each with a division of 0.1 ℃.
5. Mixing system: The electric mixer adopts a single-phase asynchronous motor without deceleration, and heating and mixing are carried out inside a protective cover.
6. Timing device: composed of transformer, timing circuit board, JQC5641 digital display circuit, timing button, etc.

5、 Installation of instruments
1. Open the packaging box, count the spare parts, pay attention to glassware, especially capillary viscometers, and handle them gently. Do not forcefully pull or plug them to avoid damage.
2. Fasten the plumb ball on the hook of the rubberwood cover, adjust the bottom corner screw of the chassis to make the cylinder wall parallel to the vertical line.
3. Insert the thermometer and sensor into the corresponding holes on the cylinder head.
4. Then connect the 8-core plug socket at the back of the chassis to the cylinder head, and connect the three core nylon plug of the sensor to the three core socket of the chassis. Connect the three core power cord to the three core aviation socket.

6、 Usage method
(1) Preparation before testing
1. Before using this instrument, carefully read the user manual.
2. Carefully read the People's Republic of China standard GB/T265 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products and Algorithm for Dynamic Viscometers", understand and familiarize yourself with the testing methods, procedures, and requirements outlined in the standard.
3. Prepare various testing instruments, materials, etc. for testing according to the requirements specified in the standard.
4. Check the working status of this instrument to ensure it meets the working environment and conditions specified in the manual.
5. Check the casing of this instrument, which must be in a good grounding state; The external power supply must have a good grounding terminal.
(2) Usage method

2. Select an appropriate capillary viscometer based on the experimental temperature.
3. Turn on the power switch on the instrument panel, the switch indicator light will turn on, and the display window of the temperature controller will show a digital display, showing the bath temperature at this time.
4. Press the set measurement conversion switch according to the test requirements, display the set value, adjust the setting knob, roughly adjust the set temperature, and then use a screwdriver to slightly rotate the setting knob to make the displayed value the temperature required for the test. Design completed, press the switch to measure and display the bath temperature.
5. When the bath temperature reaches the set value, the auxiliary heating is automatically cut off 2 ℃ in advance, and the bath temperature enters a controlled state.
6. After the bath temperature stabilizes, if there is a deviation between the temperature measured by the thermometer and the displayed temperature, the measurement value can be adjusted by fine-tuning the zero knob to achieve high-precision temperature measurement.
7. The test method shall be carried out in accordance with the method specified in the Chinese standard GB/T265 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products and Algorithm for Dynamic Viscometers".
8. Observe the flow of the sample in the tube. When the liquid level reaches the marked line a, press the timer button to start the timer; When the liquid level reaches point b, press the timer button again to stop the timer; After counting the time, press the timer button for the third time to reset the timer.

7、 Precautions
1. The power is turned on, the instrument does not have a separate mixing switch, heating and temperature control, and the mixer starts working at the same time.
2. The vertical state of the capillary viscometer can be adjusted by three small screws on the gripper.
3. When installing the thermometer, make sure that the position of the mercury ball is close to the horizontal plane of the center point of the capillary viscometer.
4. The power socket behind the chassis is equipped with a 10A fuse and contains a spare one.
Attention: When water is added to the bathtub and the room temperature is below 0 ℃, please drain the water completely to prevent freezing and damage to the components!
