2、 Overview:

Combination of mechanical stirring and ultrasonic waves

Traditional mechanical stirring and ultrasonic stirring belong to physical mechanical stirring, both of which essentially use the high-speed rotation and high-frequency vibration of the stirring blade/ultrasonic vibration rod to generate shear force on the liquid/solid-liquid medium, causing the liquid to oscillate and thus achieving the effect of mixing liquid materials. The difference is that traditional mechanical stirring only mixes liquids macroscopically and is difficult to mix thoroughly.

But the stirring power can be relatively large, and the macroscopic stirring speed is also fast. So mechanical stirring is suitable for situations where mixing uniformity is not a high requirement. Ultrasonic mixers mix liquid materials from a microscopic (molecular) perspective, achieving the highest degree of mixing, with fine and thorough mixing. Therefore, ultrasonic mixing is very suitable for fields that require extremely high mixing uniformity.

However, ultrasound has a limited radiation range. If it can be used in conjunction with traditional mechanical stirring, it can take the stirring process to the next level.
