The V-cone flowmeter $r $n is a differential pressure instrument that measures fluid flow inside a pipe based on the laws of conservation of mass and energy. It utilizes the throttling effect generated by the V-cone in the flow field to measure the flow rate by detecting the upstream and downstream pressure difference. Compared with ordinary throttling components, it has changed the throttling layout from central orifice throttling to annular throttling.

Compared with ordinary throttling components, it has changed the throttling layout from central orifice throttling to annular throttling. Practical use has proven that compared with other flow meters, it has the advantages of high accuracy, good stability, limited installation conditions, wear resistance, wide measurement range, low pressure loss, and suitability for contaminated media. Moreover, the V-cone itself serves as a rectifier for the flow field, making it an excellent new type of flowmeter with exceptional performance. Composed of a V-cone sensor and a differential pressure transmitter, it can accurately measure the flow rate of various media within a wide Reynolds number range (8 × 103 ≤ Re ≤ 5 × 107).
