The Vanta series analyzer uses Axon technology and ultra-low noise electronic components to achieve higher X-ray counting rates, allowing for quick and accurate, reproducible results.

The working principle of X-ray fluorescence
X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is a non-destructive testing technique that uses X-rays to measure the elemental composition of a sample. X-ray fluorescence works through four steps:
1. Emission: The analyzer emits X-rays.
2. Excitation: The sample is irradiated with X-rays, which emit fluorescence and reflect the X-rays back to the analyzer.
3. Measurement: The detector counts the returned X-rays. The detector measures the energy of each X-ray to form a spectrum. Spectrum can tell us which elements exist and the content of each element.
4. Result: The energy spectrum is processed by software and displayed as the elemental composition of the sample. When detecting metals, we will match the elemental composition obtained with a specific alloy grade.
