Working principle：
The instrument consists of a light source, an optical system, a detection system, and a data processing and display system. The whiteness calculation formula for this instrument is blue light whiteness R457.
The whiteness value of an ideal surface with a diffuse reflectance ratio of 1 for a completely diffuse reflector in the visible spectrum range is 100, and the whiteness value of a black surface with a spectral reflectance factor of 0 is 0. The light source of the instrument uses 457nm long-life LED, which meets the light source requirements specified in the JJG512-2002 National Metrological Verification Regulations.
The measurement and reception of the instrument adopts the principle of photoelectric effect. The radiance energy value received by the photovoltaic cell from the diffuse reflection on the surface of the sample is amplified by a high-precision automatic zero stabilization operational amplifier and input to the calibration circuit for energy value calibration. Then, the whiteness value of the sample is directly displayed on the digital display.
