YGM-C UltrasonicHeat meterComposed of a flow sensor, paired temperature sensor, and calculator, it has the characteristics of compact structure and easy installation (hereinafter referred to as a heat meter). The flow sensor (flow tube) is made of copper alloy and stainless steel (DN50 meter uses cast steel or stainless steel), with an all metal structure. The reflective surface is made of stainless steel column (DN50 meter uses opposite reflection method, no reflective surface), with no resonance, corrosion resistance, and no deformation or aging; There are no moving parts or magnetic components inside, no wear, not easy to block, low pressure loss, not easily affected by poor water quality, and low maintenance costs; Using high-quality piezoelectric ceramic transducers ensures high accuracy and stability; Can be installed horizontally or vertically, and can be installed on the inlet or outlet pipeline according to user needs (pre selected); The dual-purpose (heating and cooling) heat meter can intelligently determine the heating or cooling status based on actual usage and measure them separately. M-BUS and RS485 interfaces can be added according to different user needs to achieve remote automatic meter reading function for centralized management.

Installation, use and precautions

The applicable model of the heat meter is determined based on the system flow rate rather than the system pipe diameter, and the diameter and model of the heat meter should be determined according to the commonly used flow rate.

According to the design requirements for household metering of heating, a filter must be installed before the inlet of the heat meter; The filter must be cleaned regularly.

3. The heat meter must be installed horizontally or vertically, and the direction of the heat meter identification arrow (including the filter) must be consistent with the direction of the HVAC pipeline water flow; Do not use return water pipes for water supply to prevent backflow and prevent impurities in the water from damaging the heat meter; When installed vertically, the direction of water flow must be upward.

Before installing the heat meter, the pipeline must be cleaned; The inlet and outlet ends of the heat meter should have sufficient length of straight pipes. The straight pipe at the front end of the inlet should not be less than 10 times the diameter of the pipe, and the straight pipe at the front end of the outlet should not be less than 5 times the diameter of the pipe; When installed at the confluence of two return water pipelines, the distance between the heat meter and the connection head (such as a T-shaped joint) should be 10 times the diameter of the straight pipe section to ensure that the water temperature of the two pipelines can be evenly mixed.

5. The hot water ball valve at the inlet of the heat meter is only allowed to be in two states: fully open and fully closed. The hot water ball valve at the outlet of the heat meter can adjust the flow rate.

6. The heat meter calculator (monitor) must not be soaked in water.

7. The quality of heating water should comply with relevant regulations.

8. A heat meter is a measuring instrument that must be regularly calibrated according to national standards, and the battery must be replaced during calibration.

9. To achieve insulation and avoid human damage to the measuring system, a heat meter box can be installed. If installed outdoors or in stairwells, it is forbidden to completely close the pipeline valve to avoid freezing the heat meter due to the lack of hot water flow.

10. Without the permission of our company, no one is allowed to disassemble or repair the heat meter without authorization, otherwise the warranty service will be automatically terminated.

11. Optional RS485 interface function, wiring meaning: red (+5V), white/yellow (B), green/blue (A), black (ground).
