product details

The ZJ (G) type is a single-stage, single suction, cantilever horizontal centrifugal slurry pump. This series of pumps adopts the internationally advanced solid-liquid two-phase flow theory and is designed according to the principle of minimum loss. The geometric shape of its flow components conforms to the flow state of the medium, reducing local and longitudinal hydraulic losses such as eddies and impacts, thereby reducing the wear of flow components, improving hydraulic efficiency, and reducing operating noise and vibration; The overcurrent components of this series of pumps are made of high hardness alloy cast iron, which has high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and impact resistance, thereby improving their service life. In addition, this series of pumps uses power pressure reduction to ensure that the slurry is not easily leaked.

ZJ (G) type slurry pump can be widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, power, coal, chemical, and building materials to transport abrasive and corrosive slurries containing solid particles. The maximum weight concentration of the solid-liquid mixture is 45% for mortar and 60% for slurry. This series of slurry pumps has complete specifications and can adopt transmission forms such as direct connection, belt, hydraulic, variable frequency speed regulation, etc. It can also be connected in series or parallel according to user needs.

Working principle of ZJ slurry pump:

Firstly, let's talk about the relationship between centrifugal pumps and slurry pumps, and then the principle of slurry pumps will naturally become clear. The concept of centrifugation originated from pumps. There are many types of pumps, which can be classified into dozens of categories based on different angles. Centrifugal pump is divided based on the working principle of the pump, which is the process of increasing the pressure of the conveying medium through the action of centrifugal force. In addition, there are common types including screw principle, plunger principle, etc., which can be classified as pumps different from centrifugal principle. After discussing the concept of centrifugal pumps, let's talk about slurry pumps. Slurry pumps are classified from another perspective, that is, from the perspective of conveying media. As the name suggests, the slurry pump transports a mixture of solid particles containing slag and water. But in principle, slurry pump belongs to a type of centrifugal pump. This clarifies these two concepts

The main working components of a centrifugal pump are the impeller and the casing. The impeller device inside the casing is located on the shaft and connected to the prime mover to form a whole. When the prime mover drives the impeller to rotate, the blades in the impeller force the fluid to rotate, that is, the blades do work on the fluid in its direction of motion, thereby increasing the pressure potential energy and kinetic energy of the fluid. At the same time, the fluid flows from the center to the edge of the impeller under the action of inertial force, and exits the impeller at a high speed, enters the extrusion chamber, and is then discharged through the diffusion tube. This process is called the water pressure process. At the same time, due to the flow of fluid towards the edge at the center of the impeller, a low-pressure zone is formed at the center of the impeller. When it has sufficient vacuum, the fluid enters the impeller through the suction chamber under the pressure at the suction end (usually atmospheric pressure), and this process is called water absorption. Due to the continuous rotation of the impeller, the fluid is continuously discharged and sucked in, forming a continuous operation.

The working process of centrifugal pumps (including slurry pumps) is actually a process of energy transfer and conversion. It transfers and converts the mechanical energy generated by the high-speed rotation of the electric motor into pressure energy and kinetic energy of the pumped fluid through the blades of the pump.

ZJ slurry pump precautions:

When the slurry pump is working, it needs to be placed on land, the suction pipe in water, and the pump needs to be filled and started. Due to structural limitations, mud pumps and submersible slurry pumps require the motor to be placed above the water surface and the pump to be placed in the water, so they must be fixed. Otherwise, the motor will be scrapped if it falls into the water. Moreover, due to the generally fixed length of the long axis, the installation and use of pumps are more complicated, and their application scenarios are subject to many limitations.

If there is a backup pump, it is best to use both pumps alternately. If the pump gets stuck, the only option is to repair it. You can add a mesh at the inlet to prevent excessive impurities from entering the pump, which will greatly reduce the chance of the pump getting stuck!

Pumps need to be divided into two aspects: electrical and mechanical. For the mechanical aspect, it is mainly known by comparing the previous maintenance records. Secondly, in terms of electricity, it is necessary to understand the power of each pump motor and have a certain understanding of its control system. The slurry pump with mechanical seal must ensure the supply of shaft seal water. It is strictly prohibited to operate without water, otherwise the mechanical seal will burn out.

ZJ slurry pump maintenance:

1) The water pressure and volume of the bearing should meet the regulations, and the tightness of the packing should be adjusted (or replaced) at any time to avoid causing leakage of the shaft seal. And replace the shaft sleeve in a timely manner.

2) When replacing bearings, it is important to ensure that the bearing components are dust-free and the lubricating oil is clean. When the pump is running, the bearing temperature should generally not exceed 60-650C, with a maximum of 750C.

3) To ensure the coaxiality of the motor and pump, and to ensure the integrity and correctness of the elastic pad in the coupling, it should be replaced promptly if damaged.

4) Ensure that the pump components and piping system are installed correctly, firmly, and reliably.

5) Some components of the slurry pump are vulnerable parts, and in daily use, attention should be paid to the wear and tear of vulnerable parts, and they should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner. During the maintenance or replacement of vulnerable parts of the slurry pump, it is necessary to ensure correct assembly, reasonable gap adjustment, and avoid the occurrence of tight friction.

6) The suction pipeline system of the slurry pump must be leak free, and attention should be paid to whether there is any blockage at the suction inlet during operation. The medium that needs to be processed by the slurry pump often contains solid particles, so the partition placed in the pump pool should meet the requirements for particles that the slurry pump can pass through, reducing the possibility of blockage caused by oversized particles or long fiber materials entering the pump body.
