ZOA-300 Oxygen Probe
1. Structure of oxygen probe
The oxygen probe consists of main components such as dust prevention device, explosion-proof net, zirconia tube, heating furnace, thermocouple, gas conduit, junction box, and housing. The entire device adopts a fully enclosed structure to ensure its sealing performance and improve its service life.
The explosion-proof mesh is made of mesh stainless steel material, which can withstand high temperatures, corrosion, and act as a buffer for gas samples. For dust type oxygen probes, a cylindrical filter was installed to achieve better filtration efficiency.
The zirconia tube is the core of the oxygen probe, which generates an oxygen concentration potential signal. When using it, attention should be paid to avoiding severe vibration to prevent damage.
The function of the oxygen probe internal heating furnace is to provide the temperature required for the normal operation of zirconia components. In order to extend the service life of the heating furnace, special treatment has been made in the process. Due to the heating device of the detector itself, it can work normally in environments below 650 ℃.
The gas duct is made of two stainless steel pipes fixed on a bracket, which are connected to two inlet nozzles (reference gas, standard gas) on the box body of the junction box. The "reference gas" nozzle is generally open and connected to the air, and only in heavily polluted environments is purer air considered as the reference gas. The "standard gas" nozzle is mainly used for calibrating detectors and should usually be sealed.

2. Installation of probe
2.1 The installation location of the probe must meet the following conditions
● Avoid vibration situations
The gas temperature should be within the specified range of the instrument
The ambient temperature should be within the specified range of the instrument
The junction box should avoid high radiation heat sources
● Avoid corrosive gases
● There should be sufficient workspace
2.2 Selection of Sampling Point Location
The extracted gas sample should quickly reflect the changes in the process status, that is, the gas should be representative
The temperature, pressure, flow rate and other parameters of the sampling point should not change too much
The length of the sampling probe should reach the center of the flue and should not be less than one-third of the flue diameter
● Avoid sampling at the bottom of pipelines and flues with openings
The furnace and flue near the sampling point should have no leaks, otherwise it will cause analysis errors
Choose a location that is easy to maintain and repair
2.3 Installation
After selecting the sampling point location, open a hole with a diameter of 80mm on the furnace wall or flue, align the furnace wall fixing flange, and weld it to the device. During installation, place a 2-4mm thick asbestos rubber pad between the furnace wall fixed flange and the oxygen probe flange, and tighten four M12 bolts to prevent air leakage.
Attention should be paid to the installation of oxygen probes:
⑴ Horizontal installation, with a tilt angle not exceeding 5 degrees;
The two air nozzles on the junction box are facing downwards;
When welding the fixed flange of the furnace wall, there should be no air leakage at the welding point.
