The electrical connection between the trackside equipment of ZPW-2000A non insulated track circuit and the steel rail is achieved by reliably connecting the equipment to the steel rail through lead wires, ensuring the reliable transmission of frequency shift information on the steel rail; The standard lengths are 2, 2.2, 2.5, 3.7, 3.9, and 4.2 meters, and special lengths can be customized; The terminal of the lead wire can be either cold pressed or bolted; The quality of the copper lead wire in the ladle meets the industry technical requirements of the railway department.

According to the standard: "Technical Conditions for ZPW-2000A Steel Ladle Copper Rail Connection Line" (provisional), this technical condition is proposed and managed by the Standard Metrology Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways.
