Explanation of the differences between common types of thermal resistors
Date: 2024-06-18Read: 12
1) According to the temperature measurement principle of a regular thermistor, the change in the measured temperature is directly measured by the change in the resistance value of the thermistor. Therefore, the changes in the resistance of various wires such as the lead wires of the thermistor body will have an impact on temperature measurement.
2)Armored thermistorIt is a solid body composed of temperature sensing elements (resistors), leads, insulation materials, and stainless steel sleeves. Its outer diameter is generally between 2 and 8mm, and the minimum can reach 0.25mm (the minimum outer diameter of armored thermal resistors is 0.25mm for K-type and 1.0mm for E-type). Compared with ordinary thermistors, it has the following advantages: ① small size, no air gap inside, low measurement lag in terms of thermal inertia; ② Good mechanical performance, vibration resistance, and impact resistance; ③ Can bend, easy to install; ④ Long service life.
3) The end face thermistor temperature sensing element is made of specially processed resistance wire wound tightly against the end face of the thermometer. Compared with general axial resistance thermometers, it can more accurately and quickly reflect the actual temperature of the measured end face, and is suitable for measuring the end face temperature of bearing shells and other components.
4) Explosion proof thermistor uses a special structure of junction box to confine the explosion of explosive mixed gas inside its shell caused by sparks or arcs within the junction box, so as not to cause excessive explosion in the production site. Explosion proof thermal resistors can be used for temperature measurement in areas with explosive hazards within Bla-B3c class zones.
5) The anti-corrosion thermistor is made of PTFE anti-corrosion material, which can be used as a whole protective sleeve or a two-piece sleeve. It can also be directly treated with anti-corrosion material on the protective tube, including spraying, sintering, and sleeve sealing. Suitable for measurement in strong alkaline corrosive media, with a temperature resistance of 250 ℃. The fixed installation can also use fixed threads, flanges (contact interface surface), or sleeve threads made of the same PTFE material. Cooperating with PVC junction boxes or 316L junction boxes can achieve full corrosion resistance. Multiple installation methods, multiple diameters, choose freely.
6) Special temperature measuring instruments for thermal resistance thermal power generation units with thermal sleeves. The general temperature measuring instruments in the power station can be selected in the "General Class" of this selection sample. The design of this product refers to the EBASCO specification in the United States and fully considers the opinions of the design institute and power station users. It adopts the internationally popular separated protective tube structure, elastic compression measurement element method, and adds a high-temperature armored platinum resistor with a temperature measurement upper limit of 650 ℃.
