The 22nd Triennial Congress of the International Association of Ergonomics (IEA)（22nd Triennial Congress of the International Ergonomics Association，IEA2024）The event will be held from August 25th to August 29th, 2024 at the Jeju International Convention Center (ICC Jeju) on Jeju Island, South Korea.

IEA President awards IEA/Tsinghua Award certificate to Chen Haishou
Associate Professor Liu Peng from Zhejiang University has been awarded the IEA Kingfar Early Career Researcher Award for his outstanding research performance in the fields of human factors and ergonomics, particularly in safety and reliability engineering. Professor Liu has achieved significant results in research projects and high-level academic papers since obtaining his doctoral degree in 2014. His research results have been highly cited by peers, demonstrating his potential as a rapidly rising young scholar. The Chinese Society of Ergonomics actively supported and recommended his award application.

Regarding the IEA International Organization
The International Ergonomics Association (IEA), abbreviated as IEA, is an international organization officially established in 1959. At present, the affiliated societies are spread across more than 50 countries and regions on 6 continents, and are a federation of human factors engineering and ergonomics societies/associations around the world. One of their important functions is to give formal recognition to scholars from member countries who have made outstanding contributions to the field of human factors engineering and ergonomics internationally. 2019 marks its 60th anniversary of establishment. The mission of IEA is to develop and advance the science and practice of human factors engineering and ergonomics on a global scale, and expand their application scope and contribution to society to improve the quality of life. The IEA collaborates with many international organizations around the world to promote information exchange and joint activities, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Occupational Health Association (IOHA), and the International Society for Quality of Health Care (ISQua).
