Wang Jiangping stated that audio-visual technology and products have been widely integrated into people's production and life, playing an important role in promoting economic and social development and meeting the needs of the people for a better life. With the continuous enrichment of application scenarios, people have put forward higher requirements for the visual and auditory friendliness of audio-visual products and the convenience of human-computer interaction. In December last year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, together with seven other departments including the Ministry of Education, issued the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the High Quality Development of the Audiovisual Electronics Industry", deploying and carrying out "developing healthy and energy-saving products that protect the eyes and ears, are suitable for aging, and have low energy consumption, increasing the application of speech recognition technology and barrier free transformation, and lowering the threshold for product use" and other related work to promote audiovisual friendliness. Next, all units should strengthen collaborative linkage, fully leverage the bridging role of audio-visual friendly working groups, promote upstream and downstream collaboration in the industry, deepen the benefits of audio-visual technology, products, and services for the people, and work together with all sectors to create a thriving and healthy audio-visual industry ecosystem.

Wang Kerang, the second level inspector of the Maternal and Child Health Department of the National Health Commission, pointed out that the myopia rate among children and adolescents in China is showing a positive improvement trend, but the characteristics of early and high incidence of myopia have not changed, and the task of myopia prevention and control is still arduous. The Maternal and Child Health Department of the National Health Commission will strongly support and cooperate with audio-visual friendly work, deeply promote the integration of medicine and industry, coordinate the development of standards and key technology research and development, and safeguard the audio-visual health of children and adolescents.

Li Xiaocui, Deputy Director of the Health and Immunology Department of the National Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention, pointed out that the establishment of the Audiovisual Friendly Working Group and the promotion of the Audiovisual Friendly China Tour activities are milestone significance for the construction of the audiovisual industry friendly system. The Health and Immunology Department of the National Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention will support and cooperate with audio-visual friendly work, leverage professional advantages, and make efforts in visual health monitoring and evaluation, health standard development, comprehensive public health intervention, and public education guidance to jointly promote the construction of audio-visual friendly environment.

At the meeting, the Audiovisual Friendly Working Group was officially established, consisting of five thematic groups: Standards, Visual Friendly, Auditory Friendly, Medical Industry Integration, and Industry Promotion.
