thermal shock chamberAccurate operation relies on daily meticulous maintenance, among which defrosting, water tank cleaning, and basic maintenance are the core links. By doing these three things well, we can not only ensure temperature accuracy (± 0.5 ℃), but also extend equipment life by 3-5 years and reduce maintenance costs.
Freezing inside the low-temperature box can cause delayed temperature changes and increased energy consumption. It is necessary to trigger defrosting according to "ice thickness>5mm" or "every 150 hours of operation", and operate in both manual and automatic modes:
(1) Automatic defrosting (recommended): Set the "defrost cycle" in the control system
(2) Manual defrosting (when icing is severe): First, stop the machine and take out the sample, then turn off the main power supply; When the temperature inside the box rises to 5-10 ℃, use the plastic defrosting shovel provided with the equipment to gently scrape the ice layer (metal tools are prohibited to prevent scratching the inner liner); After the ice melts, wipe the inner container with a dry cloth to ensure there are no residual water stains before restarting the equipment.
Attention: After defrosting, run the machine empty for 30 minutes. Wait for the temperature inside the box to stabilize before placing the sample to avoid temperature fluctuations that may affect the test data.
The humidification water tank (supply) and drainage water tank (storage) of the equipment are prone to scale and mold growth, and should be operated according to the frequency of "weekly cleaning+monthly deep maintenance", with the core of "using the right water and cleaning frequently":
1. Humidification water tank (core water supply source)
Daily: Change distilled water or deionized water once a week (avoid using tap water to prevent scale from blocking the humidification nozzle), keep the water level between the "MIN-MAX" scale, and replenish it in a timely manner when it is insufficient.
Deep cleaning: Empty the water tank every month, soak it in 5% citric acid solution for 30 minutes, use a soft bristled brush to clean the tank wall (with a focus on cleaning the outlet filter), rinse it with clean water 3 times, air dry and refill with water.
2. Drainage water tank (storing defrosting water/wastewater)
Check the water level daily and immediately drain it when it reaches 2/3 of the height to avoid overflowing and corroding the bottom of the equipment.
Wipe the inner wall of the water tank with warm water and neutral detergent every month to remove residual dirt and odors, and air dry before returning to its original position.
In addition to the core components, the maintenance of the fuselage, pipelines, and control systems is equally critical, and should be carried out according to the "daily inspection+regular calibration":
(1) Air filter screen
(2) Sealing strip: Wipe the door sealing strip with a dry cloth every week to remove oil and dust; Apply a thin layer of silicone grease (special food grade) on the surface of the sealing strip every 3 months to prevent aging and cracking, and ensure sealing performance.
(3) Sensors and pipelines: Please have a professional calibrate the temperature sensor every 6 months
(4) Body and heat dissipation: Clean the surface dust of the device daily, wipe it with a damp cloth (do not rinse directly with water); Reserve a heat dissipation space of ≥ 30cm around the device to avoid covering the top or side heat dissipation ports and prevent the controller from overheating.
1. Power off before operation to avoid short circuits caused by live cleaning; 2. All cleaning tools should be made of soft materials (plastic, cotton cloth) to prevent scratching by hard objects; 3. Establish a maintenance ledger to record defrosting, cleaning, and calibration times for easy traceability; 4. If any abnormalities are found (such as frequent freezing after defrosting or water tank leakage), immediately stop the machine and contact after-sales service. Do not disassemble the machine without authorization.
