working principle

The density of asphalt pavement is directly proportional to the dielectric constant of the tested material. In the case where a magnetic field is generated by the induction plate,SMJ-2701 uses an innovative spiral shaped detection magnetic field to test the dielectric constant.

passThe electronic components of SMJ-2701 convert field signals into material density readings and display them on the screen. Once the instrument is calibrated, it can read the density in one go.
