Computer asphalt penetration testerMeet the technical requirements and relevant regulations of GB/T4509 "Determination of Penetration of Petroleum Asphalt" and JTG E20-2011 "Test Code for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering" - T0604 "Penetration Test of Asphalt". Suitable for determining the penetration of road petroleum asphalt, polymer modified asphalt, and the penetration of residual liquid petroleum asphalt after distillation or emulsified asphalt evaporation.
★ Heat and melt the pre dehydrated sample, with a heating temperature not exceeding 90 ℃ above the estimated softening point of the sample and a time not exceeding 30 minutes. After thorough stirring and sieving, inject it into the sample dish. Its depth should be at least 10mm greater than the expected penetration value, and it should be cooled at room temperature of 15-39 ℃ for 1 hour. During cooling, care should be taken not to let dust fall in.
Immerse the sample dish into a water tank filled with clean water and keep it warm for 1-1.5 hours. The water temperature should be maintained at 25 ± 0.5 ℃, and the water level should be at least 25mm above the test surface.
Adjust the needle penetration meter to be level (adjust the weight of the additional weight if necessary), press the release button with your hand, lift the standard needle rod, and make the top surface of the needle rod contact the contact head of the dial gauge.
After holding the sample dish for 1-1.5 hours, take it out and place it in a flat bottomed insulated dish with a water temperature strictly controlled at 25 ℃. The height of the water layer above the surface of the sample should not be less than 10mm. Place the insulated dish on the circular worktable of the needle penetration tester, adjust the worktable so that the surface of the sample is in perfect contact with the needle tip (if the adjustment worktable is not enough, adjust the nut to match it), and align the pointer of the dial gauge to zero.
★ Set the time switch to the desired time (5s or 60s) position for the sample, press the start button once, and the electromagnet will engage to allow the standard needle to freely penetrate into the sample until the red light is on (at this time, it indicates that the standard needle has penetrated into the sample for 5s or 60s, and the electromagnet will automatically release the magnetic spring to fix the needle rod and prevent it from falling). Press the dial gauge contact with the top surface of the outer rod of the standard needle by hand, and the number pointed by the dial gauge pointer at this time is the penetration degree of the sample.
The same sample shall be tested at least three times, and the distance between each penetration point and the edge of the sample container shall not be less than 10mm. The average of each test result is the test result of this sample.
Before each experiment, the water temperature inside the insulated dish should be checked and adjusted. After the experiment, the standard needle should be removed and wiped clean with cotton or cloth soaked in solvent (gasoline), and then wiped dry with cotton or cloth.
