Rock point load testerIt is a testing instrument suitable for use on construction sites. The point load test requires low preparation of rock samples, which can be used as core samples for engineering exploration or as irregular samples with slight adjustments. The operation is as follows:

1. Prepare for the rock experiment according to the requirements of the rock experiment protocol.
2. Check if the placement of the experimental apparatus is stable, if the loading and unloading of the kilogram are normal, and if the ball seat between the kilogram and the pressure frame is aligned.
3. Adjust the middle screw of the jack according to the height of the sample, so that the bottom plate of the lower pressure head rises (or falls) to the appropriate height, and tighten the bottom screw of the jack with the jack pressure rod.
4. Place the sample between the upper and lower pressure heads, select the position of the pressure point, and apply a load to the kilogram to make the sample touch the pressure head.
5. Load the kilogram according to the speed at which the sample is sheared in 10-20 seconds until the sample is damaged.
6. The straight displacement scale on the pull rod can read the change in vertical displacement before and after the experiment.

8. After the experiment is completed, loosen the bottom screw of the jack (using a force lever), and press the upper end of the jack screw with your hand to reset the jack. Organize the crushed stones between the upper and lower pressure plates and prepare for the next experiment.
9. The experimental pressure value is directly displayed on the LCD screen.
