flow meterIt is used to measure fluid flow, including measuring gases, liquids, and steam. According to different needs, rotor flow meters, electromagnetic flow meters, vortex flow meters, orifice flow meters, and so on have been developed. Each type of flowmeter has its own usage requirements, and the installation methods for different flowmeters are also different. This article briefly introduces the different connections of flow meters.
1、 Flange connection: Flange connection should be the most common connection method, whether it is in glass rotor flowmeter, metal tube rotor flowmeter, electromagnetic flowmeter, vortex flowmeter, as long as the flanges at both ends are fixed to the flanges on the pipeline with bolts.
2、 Threaded connection: Some flow meters also use threaded connections, including glass rotor flow meters, metal rotor flow meters, and turbine flow meters.
3、 Clamp connection: This connection method is relatively advanced. Some flow meters without flanges use this connection, which can be clamped between the two sides of the pipeline base with bolts. This connection method is relatively simple. Many vortex flowmeters use this connection method.
4、 Clean type clamp connection: Nowadays, some small-diameter and low-pressure pipelines use this type of connection. Through this connection form, flow meters can be quickly installed and disassembled, and their daily cleaning and maintenance are also very convenient. A liquid that is uniformly rich in liquid-solid two-phase suspension, such as mud, slurry, pulp, etc.
There are still many other types of connectors available. On some small flow meters, there are card sleeve connections, pagoda joint latex tube connections, quick plug connections, quick twist connections, and so on.
