·The metal tube rotor flowmeter must be installed vertically, with fluid flowing through the flowmeter from bottom to top, and the verticality should be greater than 2 °. When installed horizontally, the horizontal angle should be greater than 2 °;
·The metal tube float flowmeter installed on the process pipeline should be equipped with a bypass to ensure that it does not affect production during troubleshooting or purging;
·The inlet of the metal rotor flowmeter should have a straight pipe section of at least 5 times the diameter of the pipe, and the outlet should have a straight pipe section of 250mm to ensure the measurement accuracy of the instrument;
·If the medium contains ferromagnetic substances, a magnetic filter should be installed;
·If the medium contains solid impurities, it should be considered to install a filter between the valve and the straight pipe section;
·When used for gas measurement, it should be ensured that the pipeline pressure is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the flowmeter to ensure stable operation of the float;
·If the temperature of the measured medium is higher than 220 ℃ or the fluid temperature is too low and crystallization is likely to occur, insulation protection measures should be taken, and a jacket type should be selected for cooling or insulation; ·The pipeline flange, fasteners, gaskets, and flowmeter flange must meet the same standards to ensure the normal installation and operation of the instrument;
·This product generally does not require maintenance after the device is running normally. Malfunctions often occur when the device is just started, and the float is stuck by solid particles due to incomplete pipeline blowing. At this time, the pointer of the indicator stops at one position and does not move. At this point, first close the valves on both sides of the flowmeter, then remove the upper flange, take out the float for cleaning, and reinstall it. Pay attention to tightening the flange nuts evenly and place washers on them;
·In order to avoid deformation of the flow meter caused by the pipeline, the flange of the process pipeline must be coaxial and parallel to the flange of the flow meter, and the pipeline should be appropriately supported to avoid pipeline vibration and reduce the axial load of the flow meter. The control valve in the measurement system should be installed downstream of the flow meter;
·Due to the fact that the instrument transmits signals through magnetic coupling, in order to ensure its performance, ferromagnetic substances are not allowed to exist at least 10cm around the installation area;
·The instrument for measuring gases is calibrated at a specific pressure. If the gas is directly discharged into the atmosphere at the outlet of the instrument, a pressure drop will occur at the float and cause data distortion. If such working conditions are met, a valve should be installed at the outlet of the instrument;
·Be particularly careful when installing instruments with PTFE lining. Due to uneven pressure, PTFE will deform, so the flange nut should be tightened evenly and symmetrically;
·When installing instruments with LCD displays, try to avoid direct sunlight on the display to avoid reducing the lifespan of the LCD;
·Instruments powered by lithium batteries should be installed in environments with direct sunlight and high temperatures (≥ 65 ℃) to avoid reducing the capacity and lifespan of the lithium battery.
