The Jiaxing Nanhu Ecological Environment Restoration Project has been selected as one of the top 100 ecological environment innovation projects during the 14th Five Year Plan period.

The ecological restoration and water quality improvement project of Jiaxing Nanhu has been included in the comprehensive management project of the western river network within the urban defense enclosure of Jiaxing City, with a total length of about 150 kilometers and an area of 4.98 square kilometers. The project will effectively improve the water environment of Jiaxing's river network, reduce suspended solids concentration in the river, increase water transparency, and enhance the integrity of the aquatic ecosystem through measures such as turbidity reduction, endogenous treatment, and water ecological restoration.
