OPTIWAVE 6500 is a two-wire 80 GHz frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar level gauge, suitable for harsh applications of measuring powders in dusty environments. Due to its beam angle focusing, this radar is particularly suitable for narrow silos, hoppers, or buffer containers up to 100 m/328 ft, enabling continuous non-contact level measurement. Thanks to dedicated algorithms and the high signal dynamics of FMCW radar, this level gauge is an ideal choice for silos with low reflectivity media, dust, uneven surfaces, or structures with interference. PEEK or PTFE lens antennas installed in a flush manner do not require insertion into the compartment.
