Difficulties and solutions of corrosion-resistant flow meters in water supply applications
The natural environment for the application of water supply equipment is very complex, and corrosion-resistant flow meters must have high reliability and credibility. However, there are also various difficulties and challenges in specific applications:
(1)Not considering the installation standards for corrosion-resistant flow meters
The installation of corrosion-resistant flow meters has high requirements for the docking pipe section, but there is a difficulty factor in installing them in aged water supply equipment, which can endanger the reliability of accurate measurement. Therefore, it is possible to improve the flow characteristics by modifying the rectifier tube.
(2)The water flow rate of the tested water is too low
The flow rate of flowing water is proportional to the induced current, but if the flow rate of flowing water is too low, it will endanger the precision of accurate measurement, especially in the peripheral nerves of the pipeline network Open the gate valves on both sides of the boundary as much as possible.
(3)The surface of the sensor needs to be cleaned and there should be no mud. If there is mud, it will endanger the accuracy of the measurement due to the conductivity of the mud. In the case of using electric grade, scraper blade type electric grade can be selected, and a maintenance plan can be formulated to reduce the influencing factors of electric grade, ensure the reliability of electric grade and ensure its normal operation.
(4)If there is water vapor in the pipeline, it will oscillate and accurately measure, which may endanger the accuracy of the measured values. When water vapor appears in the pipeline, the cause should be immediately identified and corresponding solutions should be taken. If necessary, an automatic exhaust valve can be modified to remove water vapor.
(5)The channel pipeline of the corrosion-resistant flowmeter should be kept smooth and free of sediment, otherwise it will harm the flow characteristics of the corrosion-resistant flowmeter, endanger the precision of accurate measurement, and lead to data errors. Therefore, it must be cleared immediately.
(6)Damaging corrosion-resistant flow meters by lightning strikes is a common safety accident, and mild incidents can also endanger their accuracy during operation, such as signal interference. Especially in wider suburban areas, the total area covered by storms is large, which can pose a significant threat to corrosion-resistant flow meters and require the installation of corresponding lightning protection equipment. When solving such problems, it is necessary to do a good job in maintaining the switch power supply and protecting the grounding. Lightning protection is crucial in the work of lightning protection. Generally, grounding grids are installed, lightning protection grounding is installed, and houses are built on corrosion-resistant flow meter wells, which can significantly enhance the lightning protection ability of corrosion-resistant flow meters. If it is not possible to handle this type of problem globally, it is necessary to separate and maintain it, which can also reduce damage.
