Rod type floating ball liquid level switch product usage

Yesterday afternoon, a customer from Ningxia called to inquire about purchasing a rod type floating ball level switch. There is a storage tank on site that contains liquid material. When the particle level is low or the material level is high, it is necessary to know that the liquid level can be controlled. The flange installed on site is DN50. The medium density in the storage tank is 1.0g/cm3, and the floating ball diameter is Φ 45. The working pressure is 1.6MPa, and the working temperature is ≤ 120 ℃. The measurement range is 1500mm (including the size of the upper part of the thread) with high and low alarm switches (2 floating balls). The upper limit is 1300mm and the lower limit is 400mm. After learning about the customer's on-site working conditions, we sent the customer product pictures and size drawings. After the customer saw the product pictures and dimensions, they then requested to place an order and sign a contract. Later on, the client also launched a new project and asked us to send technicians to guide communication and order our company's products.

Now let me explain in detail the purpose of the rod type float level switch product.


Rod type float level switch is a liquid level control switch with simple structure, convenient use, safety and reliability.


Firstly, the rod type float level switch relies on magnetic operation without mechanical connectors, making it simple and reliable to operate. When the float switch is used to float the measured medium, the float drives the main body to move, and at the same time, the magnet on the other end of the float controls the magnet on the switch action rod.


Secondly, the rod type float level switch utilizes the magnetic float of the float level switch to move up or down with the liquid level, causing the reed switch chip at the set position inside the sensor detection tube to move and emit a contact on/off conversion signal. One or more reed switches are installed inside a sealed non-magnetic tube, and then the tube is passed through one or more hollow floating balls with circular magnets inside. The rise or fall of the liquid will drive the floating balls to move up and down together, causing the reed switches inside the non-magnetic tube to produce a suction or disconnection action, thereby outputting a switch signal.


Finally, the rod type floating ball level switch product is suitable for measuring the liquid level of media in pressure (open) containers in industries such as chemical, power, papermaking, shipbuilding, environmental protection, and food. It is used for measuring the liquid level of underground tanks, pools, and high-rise water tanks, which is simpler, more reliable, and ideal.
