Installation method of magnetic flap level gauge
Magnetic flap level gaugeComposed of the main body, flip box (composed of red and white dual color magnetic flip plates), float, flange cover, etc., it is used for measuring the liquid level of various liquid containers. Magnetic flap level gauges can be used for on-site or remote display and control of liquid levels in high-temperature, explosion-proof, anti-corrosion, food and beverage applications. The magnetic flap level gauge can achieve high sealing, leak prevention, and safe and reliable measurement of liquid level under high temperature, high pressure, high viscosity, and strong corrosive conditions. The entire measurement process has no blind spots, eye-catching display, intuitive reading, and a large measurement range. Equipped with liquid level alarm and control switch, it can realize upper and lower limit alarm and control of liquid level or boundary. Paired with KH series liquid level transmitter, it can convert the liquid level boundary signal into a standard signal of 4-20mADC two-wire system, realizing remote detection, indication, recording, and control. Magnetic flap level gauges are widely used for liquid level measurement and control in the production processes of industries such as power, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, environmental protection, shipbuilding, construction, and food.
The installation precautions for the remote magnetic flap level gauge are as follows:
Before using the remote magnetic flap level gauge, the small balls below zero position should be set to red and the other balls should be set to white with a calibrated magnetic steel;
2. The medium should not contain solid impurities or magnetic substances to avoid jamming the float;
3. The installation position of the remote magnetic flap level gauge should avoid or be far away from the inlet and outlet of the material medium to avoid rapid changes in the local area of the material fluid, which may affect the accuracy of the level measurement;
4. Magnetic materials are not allowed to approach the body of the remote magnetic flap level gauge, and iron wire fixation is prohibited, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the magnetic flap level gauge.
5. The main conduit should be cleaned irregularly to remove impurities according to the condition of the medium;
6. During debugging, the upper inlet valve should be opened first, and then the lower valve should be slowly opened to allow the medium to enter the main pipe smoothly. Observe whether the magnetic red and white balls flip normally, then close the lower inlet valve, open the drain valve, and let the liquid level in the main pipe decrease. Operate this method three times, and if it is normal, it can be put into operation;
7. Open the bottom flange and install the magnetic float (note: the heavy end with the magnetic end is facing upwards and cannot be inverted);
8. For level gauges that exceed a certain length (ordinary type>3 meters, anti-corrosion type>2 meters), it is necessary to add a reinforced flange or ear hook as a fixed support to increase strength and overcome its own weight;
9. The installation of the remote magnetic flap level gauge must be vertical, and a ball valve should be installed between the magnetic flap level gauge and the container inlet pipe for easy maintenance and cleaning;
Magnetic flap level gaugeWhen equipped with remote transmission instruments, the following measures should be taken:
1. The remote transmission supporting instruments should be tightly attached to the main pipe of the liquid level gauge and fixed with stainless steel clamps (iron is prohibited);
2. The sensing surface on the remote transmission supporting instrument should face and be closely attached to the main tube;
3. The zero position of the remote transmission supporting instrument should be on the same horizontal line as the zero position indication of the liquid level gauge;
4. The connection between the remote transmission supporting instrument and the display instrument or industrial control computer shall be separately laid through protective pipes or laid with shielded two core cables;
5. After the wiring holes of the junction box are laid, it is required to be well sealed to prevent rainwater, moisture, etc. from entering and causing the remote transmission supporting instruments to not work properly. The junction box should be promptly covered after maintenance or debugging is completed.
