One Installation specifications for sensors
1. Sensor grounding: In order to ensure the reliable operation of the split electromagnetic flowmeter, improve measurement accuracy, and avoid interference from external parasitic potentials, the sensor should have a good separate grounding wire with a grounding resistance of less than 10 Ω. If there is insulation layer or non-metallic pipeline in the pipeline connecting the sensor, the sensor should be effectively grounded.
2. Requirements for the external environment:
1) Flow meters should be avoided from being installed in places with large temperature changes or high temperature radiation from equipment. If installation is necessary, insulation and ventilation measures must be taken.
2) The flowmeter should be installed indoors. If it must be installed outdoors, it should be protected from rainwater, waterlogging, and direct sunlight. Moisture and sun protection measures should be taken.
3) Flow meters should be avoided from being installed in environments containing corrosive gases, and ventilation measures must be taken when installation is necessary.
4) For installation, maintenance, upkeep, and convenience, there needs to be ample installation space around the flowmeter.
5) The installation site of the flowmeter should avoid strong magnetic fields and vibration sources. If the pipeline vibration is large, there should be fixed pipe supports on both sides of the flowmeter.
3. Requirements for bypass pipe: In order to facilitate the maintenance of the flow meter, a bypass pipe must be installed for the flow meter. In addition, for heavily polluted fluids and flow meters that need to be cleaned and cannot be stopped, a bypass pipe must be installed to facilitate the maintenance of the flow meter.
II Converter installation specifications
1. The length of the signal cable between the converter and the sensor cannot exceed 50M, and the signal cable must be threaded with galvanized pipes. If the galvanized pipe is in the air, the wire of the galvanized pipe should be reliably grounded with a grounding resistance of less than 10 ohms.
2. The power supply is 220V unidirectional AC, and an air switch is installed inside the instrument box. The lightning arrester and air switch are connected in parallel, and the wire is connected to a three-way socket after coming out of the air switch.
3. The length of the grounding wire of the lightning arrester cannot exceed 1M, and the cross-sectional area of the multi stranded copper core insulated wire is greater than 6MM square. If there is no grounding grid nearby, a simple grounding grid should be built near the lightning arrester. The method is as follows: use three 1.5M long flat steel or angle steel, arrange them in a equilateral triangle and drive them underground. Use flat steel bars to weld the three flat steel bars together, weld bolts at one corner, and then connect the grounding wire of the lightning arrester.
