Magnetic flap level gauge
Magnetic flap level gauge is a device specially developed for level measurement based on the principles of magnetic pole coupling and Archimedes' law of buoyancy, combined with the characteristics of mechanical transmission. On this basis, we continuously expand its scope of use and extend various types of products, endowing it with more practical functions while detecting liquid levels.
The instrument has a cavity (called the main tube or shell) that accommodates a floating ball, which is connected to the container through a flange or other interface to form a connector; In this way, the liquid level inside the chamber is at the same height as the liquid level inside the container, so the floating ball inside the chamber will rise and fall with the rise and fall of the liquid level inside the container; At this point, we cannot see the liquid level, so we installed a flip column display outside the chamber. When manufacturing the float, we installed magnetic steel at the junction of the float sinking into the liquid and the floating part. When the float rises and falls with the liquid level, its magnetism is transmitted through the shell to the flip column display, pushing the magnetic flip column to flip 180 degrees; Due to the fact that the magnetic flip column is a cylindrical body composed of two semi cylinders, red and white, the color of the display facing outside the flip column after flipping 180 ° will change (red below the liquid level and white above), and the height of the liquid level is at the junction of the two colors.
The working principle of the liquid level transmission part (electrical part) of an instrument with a liquid level transmitter (remote transmission of electrical signals) is to use a magnetic float to act on a magnetic spring switch, causing a change in the resistance number connected to the circuit, thereby enabling the sensor part to generate a resistance signal corresponding to the liquid level change. By using a signal converter, the resistance signal can be converted into a 4-20mA current signal. The electronic components of this level gauge have almost no energy storage components such as capacitors and inductors. Can stack HART communication protocol or use RS485 bus communication.
In order to expand its scope of use, liquid level transmission devices can be added according to relevant standards and requirements to output various electrical signals. Among them, 4-20mA current signal is a commonly used one.
