Installation steps:

When the steam drum level gauge has been installed in place, the air valve, liquid valve, and drain valve are all in the closed state.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Slowly open the liquid valve and carefully observe whether there is any "running, emitting, dripping, or leaking" phenomenon in the measuring cylinder, welds, and flanges.

2. Preheat the liquid level gauge for 20 minutes

3. Slowly open the air valve.

4. Check if the output 4-20mA current signal is within the normal range

5. Open the drain valve as needed to discharge cold water and dirt from the measuring cylinder, in order to accelerate circulation and improve measurement.

6. After the liquid level gauge works normally, the measuring cylinder can be insulated to improve measurement accuracy.

Notes:

1. All supplied products come with product qualification certificates and user manuals, which include product numbers, technical parameters, wiring diagrams, manufacturing dates, etc. Please carefully check to avoid using them incorrectly.

2. During installation, it is necessary to check whether the on-site interface is consistent with the product according to the product connection method.

3. This product is a precision instrument and must not be disassembled, bumped, dropped, or forcefully hit.

4. If any abnormalities are found during use, the power should be turned off and the device should be stopped for inspection or directly reported to our technical department.

5. During transportation and storage, the original packaging should be restored and stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated warehouse.

6. During installation and use, be careful not to break the insulation layer of the sensor.

7. Effective lightning protection measures should be taken at the installation site.

8. Any liquid level gauge shell in this series must be reliably grounded with a resistance of less than 4 Ω.

9. When using 485 communication network, the liquid level gauge must be equipped with safety barriers or isolators.

10. The safety barrier should obtain an explosion-proof certificate and be installed according to its instructions.

11. The power transformer that supplies power to the safety barrier when the transmitter is used in the "0" zone must meet the requirements of Article 8.1 of GB3836.4-2000.
