A Brief Analysis of the Calibration Process of Tension Sensors
Date: 2023-10-18Read: 12

1. Insert the force sensor to be calibrated, such as a force sensor with a range of 50kg, and select a force sensor channel on the left;
2. Enter the range of the sensor in the "Range" input box, such as "50" kg;
3. Enter the zero force of the sensor in the "zero value" input box, usually enter "0";
4. Click the "Clear" button to clear the calibration table;
5. Calibration of Di1 point: Place the sensor unloaded, press the force to zero, and enter "0" kg in the input box on the right side of the "Standard Weight Value". Then click the "Pick Point" button, and the AD value and standard weight value of Di1 point will be taken into the calibration table;
6. Calibration point 2: Load the sensor with a certain value of load, such as hanging a 5kg weight, and enter the load value of "5" kg in the input box on the right side of "Standard Weight Value". Then click the "Pick Point" button, and the AD value and standard weight value of point 2 will be taken into the calibration table;
7. Calibration point 3: The method is the same as point 2. If the third point is continuously calibrated, the "AD value" and "standard weight value" can only be larger than point 2, otherwise the calibration will not be accurate;
8. Calibration point 4: The method is the same as point 2. If point 4 is continuously calibrated, the "AD value" and "standard weight value" can only be larger than point 3, otherwise the calibration will not be accurate;
9. Calibration point 5: The method is the same as point 2. If point 5 is continuously calibrated, the "AD value" and "standard weight value" can only be larger than point 4, otherwise the calibration will not be accurate;
10. Calibration point 6: The method is the same as point 2. If point 6 is continuously calibrated, the "AD value" and "standard weight value" can only be larger than point 5, otherwise the calibration will not be accurate;
11. Click the "Write calibration data to acquisition card" button. If it prompts "Write successful", the calibration of a force sensor is completed. If it prompts "Write failed", please try again a few times.
If a second force sensor is required, repeat steps 1-11 above. Otherwise, set the range of all other sensors to 0 and click the "Write Calibration Data to Acquisition Card" button.
