How to maintain the state of wear-resistant thermocouples when turned off
Date: 2020-12-02Read: 8
No matter what the external temperature is, any air leakage is yoursWear resistant thermocoupleThe big enemy of the system. Your wear-resistant thermocouple may be free of any debris (such as condensate or oil) and have incredible filtering capabilities, but leaks can cause them to fall off. There may be temperature leaks anywhere from your machine to the end of the distribution network, which can waste up to 20% to 30% of the output power of wear-resistant thermocouples. If you know you have a leak but cannot determine the location of the leak, please do not increase the leak!
Some people choose to simply raise the temperature in an attempt to identify the leak point. This may damage your wear-resistant thermocouple system, so it is not recommended to do so. Discovering these leaks is one of the main benefits of regular inspections. After identifying the leakage point in the wear-resistant thermocouple system, please repair it to ensure smooth and safe shutdown. Please note that unsupervised leaks can lead to reduced service life, increased maintenance of supply equipment, or the need for repairs to wear-resistant thermocouples. This article discusses 5 things that wear-resistant thermocouple systems can maintain good condition during shutdown.
1. Perform routine maintenance
This may seem like an obvious suggestion, but considering the main opportunity provided by downtime, you would be surprised to find how many factories have not arranged or are not conducting routine maintenance. Please consider the following tasks when closing:
-Replace the engine oil and oil filter
-Replace the temperature filter
-Replace the filter on the dryer
-Collect oil samples
Based on our experience, a simple action of changing the oil and discovering any contaminants can provide insight into other issues that the machine may encounter before becoming severe! Next, clean the oil cooler and aftercooler, which can maintain the highest efficiency of the wear-resistant thermocouple and reduce the outlet temperature, so that the wear-resistant thermocouple no longer needs to work hard. The problem with dirty aftercoolers is that they transfer hot temperatures and unnecessary condensates downstream of the dryer.
2. Check the dryer
If the temperature of the wear-resistant thermocouple entering the dryer is too hot or filled with moisture, the performance of the dryer often decreases. This provides us with the next suggestion - check your dryer. Drying machines consume a large amount of energy and play a crucial role in one of the important public utilities in factories. However, there may be some slightly different processes depending on the type of dryer you are using. For a dryer, the first thing to ensure is that the dryer circulates normally.
-Testing the quality of desiccants
For freeze dryers:
-Has the unit reached the target dew point?
-Is the outlet temperature of the wear-resistant thermocouple low enough to operate the dryer?
-If the dryer does not reach the set point, overheats or freezes, please have a technician familiar with refrigeration check the wear-resistant thermocouple for refrigeration
-Clean the condenser fins
Just like air conditioning, the dryer should be regularly inspected and cleaned, but this is often overlooked in preventive maintenance plans for public facilities. Immediately consider adding a temperature dryer to the maintenance plan.
3. Check the allocation system
So far, it is clear that moisture is the big enemy of your wear-resistant thermocouple system. Unfortunately, the distribution system is another good place to hide unwanted moisture. To solve this problem, first open and check if all drainage pipes and drain valves are working properly. Confirm that there is no condensation in the wear-resistant thermocouple system (including dry and wet storage tanks). Next, ensure that the drain valve is not stuck in the open or closed position. If the condensate discharge happens to be on the timer, consider replacing it with a more efficient zero loss discharge valve. As the name suggests, these valves can further prevent leaks and save valuable wear-resistant thermocouples for your system. The accumulation of condensed water is the root cause of common problems in power distribution systems, therefore daily maintenance must be carried out.
4. Add binding connection
It is no secret that wear-resistant thermocouples play a crucial role in the smooth operation of public facilities. Have you ever thought about what would happen if a wear-resistant thermocouple malfunctions? If there is a malfunction of the wear-resistant thermocouple, it is necessary to start the backup wear-resistant thermocouple as soon as possible and operate it. Even if your factory is equipped with spare wear-resistant thermocouples, catastrophic failures can still leave you scrambling for the last moment during minor malfunctions. By considering adding continuous wear-resistant thermocouple connection points during regularly scheduled shutdown periods, time and headaches can be saved. Tying makes the introduction of new or leased units a seamless process.
5. Reserve necessary spare parts
Planning the next shutdown in advance is the * method to maintain and keep the mechanical equipment running smoothly. Mastering all the essentials is the method. Maintaining a sufficient number of these projects at all times is a key aspect of successful closure:
-Oil
-Oil filter
-Temperature filter
-Oil water separator
