Brief Introduction

The radio frequency admittance level gauge technology for measuring materials is an improved new level measurement technology developed from capacitive level control technology, mainly using radio frequency signals. Radio frequency admittance level meter uses high-frequency radio waves to measure admittance. When the instrument starts working, the sensors inside the instrument form admittance values with the tank wall and the measured medium. The material level in the pipeline changes, and when the center probe contacts the material, the admittance value changes correspondingly with the height of the material level. The circuit unit (transmission device) converts the measured admittance value into a level signal output to achieve level measurement.

The RF admittance level gauge mainly consists of a detection part and a transmission device part. The detection part mainly includes the central probe, protective shell, indicating instrument, etc; The transmission device consists of an oscillator, error correction circuit, bridge, signal conditioner, shielding circuit, current voltage conversion circuit, etc. The center probe of the RF admittance level gauge is made of 304 stainless steel and insulated with PTFE material.

When measuring the material level, the RF signal is filtered out by a filtering circuit to remove interfering components. The measured signal contains both level information and hanging information, which are effectively shielded by an effective shielding layer to obtain a pure level signal and avoid false signals. The shielding circuit in the JK type RF admittance level meter produced by Jiake Instrument can prevent RF current from forming a loop through the hanging material. The impact generated by the hanging material can be identified and eliminated from the total output through the phase-shifting process of the bridge, thereby avoiding the influence of hanging material at the detection probe end on measurement accuracy. The RF admittance level gauge has a * circuit design and sensor structure, which allows its detection to be unaffected by sensor probe hanging and does not require regular cleaning, avoiding false measurements and false signals.
