Thermal signal calibratorIt is a precision instrument, and correct use can ensure the accuracy of calibration results and extend the lifespan of the equipment. Here is about
Thermal signal calibratorPrecautions during operation.
1) Range selection
Prohibit over range input/output:
For example, when calibrating a 4-20mA transmitter, the output signal must not exceed 22mA, otherwise it may damage the instrument or be tested.
When simulating thermocouples, avoid exceeding the limit temperature of their corresponding scale marks (such as the upper limit of K-type thermocouples being 1300 ℃).
2) Signal output and measurement
Gradually adjust:
When calibrating the transmitter, gradually test at 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% range points to avoid jumping adjustments.
Load capacity:
When outputting current signals, ensure that the load resistance of the circuit is within the allowable range (e.g. 4-20mA output usually supports ≤ 500 Ω).
3) Intelligent instrument communication (HART/Modbus)
Protocol matching: Confirm that the calibrator supports the communication protocol of the tested smart instrument (such as HART requiring parallel connection of a 250 Ω resistor).
Read and write permissions: Be cautious when modifying parameters to avoid incorrect instrument configuration caused by misoperation.
