Four,main purpose
Applicable tosurgical maskDetermination of penetration performance of synthetic blood splashes. Can be used by pharmaceutical inspection departments, safety testing departments, and scientific research institutions.
Five,principle
The medical mask sample is supported on the testing device, and 2mL of synthetic blood is sprayed horizontally from a sleeve with an inner diameter of 0.84mm towards the tested mask at a distance of 300mm. Simulate the scene of a mask being splashed with blood from perforated blood vessels, and observe the penetration of synthetic blood on the other side of the mask.
The medical mask samples were tested with liquid jet pressures corresponding to liquid jet velocities of 450cm/s, 550cm/s, and 635cm/s. Record the test results of each jet speed and provide the Zuigao blood pressure corresponding to an acceptable quality level limit of 4 for medical masks.
Six,Experimental steps
1,Pull the handle of the sample holder on the upper left of the instrument and pull the sample holder to the left. Fix the sample (which is required by the standard to be taken out of the pre-processing chamber for testing within 60 seconds) on the sample holder. If the mask has wrinkles, unfold the wrinkles and fix them on the sample holder to ensure that the target area is a single-layer material, with the center of the sample as the test target area. Close the sample clamp.
2,Press the "Start" button, and a certain amount of synthetic blood (with a surface tension of (0.042 ± 0.002) N/m) will be sprayed horizontally towards the tested mask behind the positioning target. At the same time, the timer will start counting, and when the set spraying time is reached, the instrument will automatically stop spraying.
After 10 seconds, the buzzer will sound. Press the "stop" button and pay attention to checking whether there is synthetic blood on the observation surface of the sample.
3,The experiment has ended. If further testing is required, repeat steps A-C until the * part test is performed.
After all experiments are completed, clean the synthetic blood residue in the test solution tank, replace it with distilled water, and clean the entire pipeline. When the nozzle sprays clean water, continue to drain all the clean water in the test solution tank. Close the outlet valve on the air compressor and turn off the power switch. Wash the residual liquid tray clean, clean the workbench, and remove the distilled water from the test solution tank.
4,Positioning target test
Firstly, close the outlet valve on the air compressor, connect the power to the air compressor, and wait for it to reach the predetermined pressure. Cut off the power supply of the air compressor, turn off the air source switch, open the outlet valve, and pull up the valve head of the filter pressure reducing valve on the left side of the instrument. According to the valve head instructions, the "+" direction is for pressure increase, and the "-" direction is for pressure reduction adjustment, so that the pressure gauge of the filter pressure reducing valve displays 0.2MPa. Install the positioning target so that the distance between the back of the positioning target and the mask sample is 10mm, and tighten the positioning screw on the bottom guide plate of the positioning target.
5,Turn the air source switch on the left side of the instrument to off (vertically off), turn on the power switch, press the "up test solution" button, pay attention to the return pipe above the test solution box, if there is test solution flowing out of the return pipe, immediately press the "up test solution" button. The liquid test is completed.
After determining the distance between the nozzle and the mask with a positioning ruler to be (300 ± 10) mm, fix the positioning target seat with screws.
Unscrew the left air source switch of the instrument (with the knob horizontal), adjust the precision pressure reducing valve at the top of the instrument, follow the valve head instructions, the "+" direction is for pressure increase, and the "-" direction is for pressure reduction adjustment. Refer to Table 2 to adjust the pressure gauge pressure, set the "spray time" timer on the panel to 1 minute or longer, press the "start" button, loosen the nozzle positioning screw, adjust the nozzle up, down, left, and right, so that the sprayed test solution is aligned with the center of the small hole on the positioning target plate in a straight line shape, tighten the positioning screw, and press the "stop" button.
For the test liquid with a density of 1.005g/mL, the relationship between pressure gauge pressure and flow rate is shown in Table 2.
Set the "Spray Time" timer on the panel to 1 second, press the "Start" button, and stop spraying the test solution after 1 second. Use a balance to weigh the mass of the liquid sprayed from the nozzle, ensuring that the mass of the sprayed liquid is within the range given in Table 2. If it is not within the range, the pressure value can be adjusted slightly (refer to 6.2.4 for the method of aligning the liquid with the target hole) to ensure that the mass of liquid passing through the target hole is within the range given in Table 2.
The relationship between the reference pressure gauge pressure and the injection time is shown in Table 3. At different pressures, adjust the injection time so that the volume of liquid sprayed through the target hole three times in a row is 2mL. For the test liquid with a density of 1.005g/mL, the mass is 2.01g. If the volume of liquid sprayed from the nozzle (taken from the sample placement) is not 2mL, the injection time can be adjusted appropriately to ensure that the volume of liquid passing through the target hole is 2mL. (Three sets of samples corresponding to three injection speeds of 450 cm/s, 550 cm/s, and 635 cm/s need to be prepared for the test, and the test should be conducted according to different injection speeds to evaluate the sample's resistance to synthetic blood penetration), and then the test should be carried out according to the following steps.
Seven,Experimental steps
Pull the handle of the sample holder on the upper left of the instrument and pull the sample holder to the left. Fix the sample (which is required by the standard to be tested within 60 seconds after being taken out of the pre-processing chamber) on the sample holder. If the mask has wrinkles, unfold the wrinkles and fix them on the sample holder to ensure that the target area is a single-layer material, with the center of the sample as the test target area. Close the sample clamp.
Press the "Start" button, and at this time, a certain amount of synthetic blood (surface tension (0.042 ± 0.002) N/m) will be sprayed horizontally towards the tested mask behind the positioning target. The spraying will start, and the time relay will start timing. After the set spraying time, the instrument will automatically stop spraying.
After 10 seconds, the buzzer will sound. Press the "stop" button to open the sample holder. Under appropriate lighting conditions, inspect the observation surface of the sample for the presence of synthetic blood.
The experiment has ended.
