Brief Introduction

Fabric surface moisture resistance testerSpray type water repellent tester

The spray quantitative tester is used to measure the surface wettability of fabrics. It includes a metal frame that allows distilled water to be sprayed onto the sample through a nozzle at 45 ° and 150 millimeters below the nozzle. Compare the appearance of the specimen with the optional photographic scale.

The tester meets the requirements

ISO 4920, AATCC 22, M&S P23 standards.

GB/T4745-1997 "Determination of Surface Moisture Resistance of Textile Fabrics - Wetting Test"

AATCC 22-10

ISO 4920-12/ GB/T 4745-12

1. Safety

This section introduces the safety signs that run through this manual. Please read and understand all warnings and warnings before using the spray level tester.

danger Ignoring instructions may result in the operator being in a dangerous state.

2. Standardization

3. Installation

3.1 Settings

After turning on the spray level tester, place the tester on a flat and smooth surface in a room with stable temperature and humidity.

operation

5.1 Calibration device, empty the funnel for the time required for testing and measuring 250 milliliters of distilled water at 27 ± 1 ℃ (80 ± 2).

5.2 Secure the specimen firmly within a 152.4 mm (6.0 in) diameter ring, exposing the surface of the fabric specimen to water mist. The surface of the sample should be smooth and wrinkle free.

5.3 Place the hula hoop on the test bench above the fabric zui, so that the center of the spray pattern coincides with the center of the hula hoop.

5.3.1 If it is fine yarn, herringbone, corduroy or similar structured fabric, place the iron ring on the rack so that the direction of the fabric is consistent with the direction of the final product.

5.4 Pour 250 milliliters of distilled water into the funnel of the tester at 27 ± 1 ℃ (80 ± 2) and allow it to spray onto samples from the 25-30s.

5.4.1 When pouring distilled water, avoid using a graduated cylinder to contact the funnel. The movement of the funnel will change the spray distribution on the sample.

5.5 Hoop, bottom edge, use the opposite edge to firmly oppose a solid object and the object facing the fabric, then rotate the hoop 180 ° and hold it again before the point.

Repeat steps 5.2 to 5.5 for all three samples.

5. Evaluation

6.1 Immediately compare the water or spot pattern with the rating sheet after clicking. Rate the surface of the sample, which corresponds to the closest level in the rating chart.

6.2 Intermediate ratings can be used for ratings of 50 or higher (95, 85, 75, 60). (See Figure 1 and Table 1)

6.3 When grading loose or porous fabrics (such as bari yarn), no consideration is given to any channels through which water passes through the fabric openings.
