To ensure the safety of the installation personnel and the normal operation of the sludge concentration meter, please install it in the following order: 1. Install the instrument box and sensor bracket; 2. Install the transmitter into the instrument box and secure it; 3. Install sensors; 4. Electrical connection. 2.2 Installation of transmitters: When selecting the installation location of the transmitter, the following principles should be followed: avoid direct sunlight exposure to the transmitter; Avoid causing excessive vibration to the transmitter; If the situation permits, the transmitter should be installed slightly above the operator's level of sight, which will facilitate the operator's comfortable browsing of the front panel and control operations; Leave enough space for the opening and maintenance of the transmitter enclosure, and the transmitter size is shown in Figure 2-1. 2. Transmitter size transmitter size diagram 3, transmitter installation There are three holes on the back of the transmitter, with the upper hole for hanging and the lower two holes for bolt fixing. 2.3 Sensor Installation To ensure accurate measurement, the following standards should be followed when selecting the sensor installation location: the sensor should be installed in the appropriate position of the process to ensure representative measurement results, and the installation location should be convenient for the operator to perform sampling operations. The recommended maximum distance between the sensor and the sampling point should not exceed 1.5 meters. Incorrect sampling operations are a common cause of measurement data errors; Sensors should be installed in easily accessible locations for regular cleaning and maintenance; Sensors should be avoided from being installed in areas with many bubbles, as bubbles can generate interference signals. Under certain application conditions, the generation of bubbles is difficult to avoid, such as in measuring centrifugal or filtered liquids, where sensors should be installed in the degassing device; The sensor should be installed in a location with good process mixing and no downtime, which is usually the location of the sampling point; The probe of the sensor should face away from the flow direction of the process medium. There are two ways to install sensors: immersion installation and insertion installation. 2.4 Immersion Installation Immersion installation refers to the installation method of immersing sensors into a pool or tank through an installation bracket. Suitable for aeration tanks, sedimentation tanks, concentration tanks, reflux channels and other occasions. When installing in immersion mode, the sensor must be installed on the mounting bracket and cannot be suspended in water using the sensor's cable. The sensor should be submerged to a depth of not less than 30cm below the water surface, or to the depth typically reached during sampling, and avoid direct sunlight.
