Prospect: The application fields of cryogenic technology are gradually expanding to natural gas liquefaction and separation in the natural gas industry, and MTO/MTP olefin separation in the modern coal chemical industry. The national energy structure adjustment and industrial transformation and upgrading strategy provide a good market opportunity for these emerging processes. The demand for cryogenic technology equipment products in natural gas and modern coal chemical industries is rapidly increasing, and it is expected to become the next rapid growth point in this industry.
Opportunity: The application fields of cryogenic technology equipment include natural gas, coal chemical, petrochemical and other industries, all of which belong to industries with high comprehensive energy consumption. Currently, with the deepening implementation of national energy conservation and emission reduction policies, manufacturers of cryogenic technology equipment are increasingly considering energy consumption, emissions, and other indicators in the process design. Customers also consider energy efficiency as one of the key evaluation criteria when choosing products.

LNG is transported by sea from the origin to the user, and received and stored at the receiving station. During unloading, LNG is transported by the ship's transfer pump, collected through the unloading arm and its branch pipes to the main pipe, and then transported to the LNG storage tank through the main pipe. During this process, it is generally necessary to install a flow meter in the main pipeline for measurement.
Current problem: The flow meter used in the early design of the project is the Coriolis mass flow meter. However, due to the structural limitations of the mass flow meter itself, the maximum diameter can only reach DN250, and multiple units need to be connected in parallel to meet the measurement requirements. This results in greater pressure loss and increased costs, causing economic losses to the owner.
In the flow measurement of low-temperature fluids, flange sealing structures are generally avoided. Due to thermal expansion and contraction, some leaks are difficult to control. However, the structure of the "A+K balanced flowmeter" integrates the throttling element and the pressure inlet. When measuring low-temperature fluids, the entire flowmeter is welded to the pipeline without any leakage points, solving the problem of difficult leakage control of the flowmeter at extremely low temperatures.

Performance Characteristics
Low temperature fluids are typically stored in adiabatic storage containers in a saturated state. During transportation, use a pump to increase the pressure and send it out, start the process, and repeatedly increase and decrease the pressure. During this process, the extremely low-temperature fluid in a saturated state changes from a supercooled state to a boiling state, and its state is prone to change. Therefore, measures need to be taken in the design of flow meters to avoid or mitigate the impact of this process.
The A+K balanced flowmeter is a new type of differential pressure flowmeter designed and invented by NASA Marshall Space Flight Center for measuring liquid oxygen, the raw material of the main engine of the space shuttle. It is the most advanced differential pressure flowmeter in industrial process control and measurement in the world today. Developed jointly by NASA/MSFC/A+FLOW TEK, obtained through thermodynamic modeling, real flow data, and flow simulation, and designed a powerful specialized selection calculation software A+FLOW ITEMS.
Powerful database and correction compensation function, the A+K flow integrator integrates a huge database, with valuable functions such as low-temperature medium data, medium density temperature and pressure compensation, and outflow coefficient compensation. Density correction plays a crucial role in special media such as cryogenic media.
