The A+K integrated balanced flowmeter solves the measurement problem of traditional equipment in complex working conditions
Date: 2025-06-16Read: 10

In complex industrial scenarios, precise measurement of fluids is the core link to ensure production efficiency and energy security. With the rapid development of industrial automation and intelligence, traditional throttling devices (such as orifice plates) are gradually showing limitations such as insufficient accuracy and high pressure loss. The A+K integrated balanced flowmeter, with its design and performance, is becoming a "precise navigator" in the field of industrial fluid measurement, providing efficient and stable solutions for modern process industries.

Technological innovation: a leap from "single pore" to "porous equilibrium"
The core of the A+K integrated balanced flowmeter lies in its design concept of porous symmetrical structure. Traditional orifice plates only throttle through a single aperture, resulting in the formation of eddies and vibrations in the fluid in the pipeline, which not only causes energy loss but also reduces measurement accuracy. The balanced flowmeter adopts a porous disk throttling rectifier, which achieves flow field balance and rectification through function holes (customized aperture distribution based on special formulas and test data). When the fluid passes through these holes, the vortex is reduced, forming an approximately ideal fluid state, thereby significantly improving measurement accuracy.
Its working principle is based on the Bernoulli equation, and stable differential pressure signals are obtained through a pressure measuring device. Combined with the energy conversion principle in a sealed pipeline, the volumetric flow rate and mass flow rate can be directly calculated. This design not only inherits the stability of differential pressure flow meters, but also solves the measurement problem of traditional equipment in complex working conditions by optimizing the flow field distribution.
Performance advantages: precise, energy-saving, and adaptable
1. High precision and stability
The porous structure significantly reduces eddy currents and signal noise, improves flow field stability by 5-10 times, achieves repeatability of 0.15%, and achieves measurement accuracy of ± 0.3% - ± 0.5%. This feature makes it suitable for high-precision scenarios such as trade settlement.
2. Low voltage loss and energy conservation
The porous symmetrical design reduces turbulent shear forces and kinetic energy losses, and under the same operating conditions, the pressure loss is only 1/3-1/2 of that of a standard orifice plate. For example, in natural gas transportation systems, pumping energy consumption can be reduced by more than 30%, significantly saving operating costs.
Wide range ratio and strong adaptability
Its range ratio can reach 10:1 or even higher, suitable for Reynolds number range of 200-10? The fluid conditions. Whether it is a clean liquid or a slurry containing impurities, or a high-temperature and high-pressure medium (such as 550 ℃ high-temperature steam, 42MPa high-pressure gas), it can operate stably. In addition, its straight pipe section requires only the front 3D and back 1D (D is the diameter of the pipeline), and can even be as low as 0.5D, greatly reducing the cost of pipeline laying.
Resistance to dirt and blockage
The porous design reduces the formation of dead zones, allowing dirty media to smoothly pass through multiple pores, avoiding the problem of single pore blockage. This characteristic makes it perform well in complex scenarios such as sewage treatment and chemical raw material transportation.
