Brief Introduction

The radar level gauge (high and low frequency) MX-WW-144-04G emits narrow microwave pulses from the antenna, which are transmitted downwards through the antenna. This pulse propagates at the speed of light in space and encounters the surface of the measured medium. Part of its energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna. The time interval between the transmitted and received pulses is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium. Due to the high propagation speed of electromagnetic waves, the time interval between transmitting and receiving pulses is very small (in the nanosecond range), making it difficult to confirm. The 80G series radar level gauge adopts a special correlation demodulation technology, which can accurately identify the time interval between the transmitted pulse and the received pulse, and further calculate the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium

The radar level gauge (high and low frequency) adopts advanced microprocessors and EchoDiscovery echo processing technology, so the radar level gauge can be applied to various complex working conditions. Adopting a pulse working mode, the radar level gauge has extremely low transmission power and can be installed in various metal and non-metal containers without causing harm to the human body and the environment.

Widely used in pulp, adhesives, dyes, slurries, alkaline solutions, acid solutions, beer, beverages, petrochemicals, light industry, food, water treatment, liquids that can generate gases, solid powders or particles with good fluidity. Alarm and control the upper and lower limits of the material level

2. Application areas:

The height of materials inside all tanks

Petrochemical, environmental protection, petroleum

Hydraulic and pneumatic control system

Pharmaceutical and food industries

☛ Automatic control and detection system

Liquid filling and sewage tank

Mixing tank, reactor, foam medium

3. Product features:

The radar level gauge adopts a transmission frequency of up to 80GHz and therefore has the following characteristics:

Small beam angle, concentrated energy, stronger anti-interference ability, greatly improving measurement accuracy and reliability;

The antenna size is small, making it easy to install and install antenna protective devices such as dust covers;

The measurement blind spot is smaller, which can also have a good effect on measuring small cans;

Can measure continuously and accurately under harsh conditions.

☛ Easy to operate and debug. Accurate, safe, and energy-efficient.

No maintenance required and highly reliable.

Almost all media can be measured: particles, small oil storage tanks. Various conductive, non-conductive, and corrosive media. Such as coal bunkers, ash silos, oil tanks, acid tanks, etc

4. Basic installation requirements:

When an antenna emits microwave pulses, there is a certain emission angle. There shall be no obstacles in the area radiated by the emitted microwave beam from the lower edge of the antenna to the surface of the measured medium. Therefore, during installation, it is advisable to avoid facilities inside the tank as much as possible, such as ladders, limit switches, heating equipment, brackets, etc. When necessary, "false echo learning" must be carried out. In addition, it is important to note that the microwave beam must not intersect with the feeding material flow. When installing the instrument, it is also important to note that the highest material level must not enter the measurement blind zone: the instrument must maintain a certain distance from the tank wall; the installation of the instrument should be as perpendicular as possible to the emission direction of the antenna and the surface of the measured medium. Instruments installed in explosion-proof areas must comply with the installation regulations of national explosion-proof hazardous areas. The shell of explosion-proof instruments is made of die cast aluminum. Explosion proof instruments can be installed in places with explosion-proof requirements, and the instrument must be grounded.
