There are two types of valve stem nut connections: T-shaped nut type and integral embedded structure. The T-shaped nut structure is simple, and there is an adjustment gap between the nut and the gate plate, which can simplify the manufacturing process of the gate plate and reduce requirements. However, long-term use may cause the T-shaped nut to wear out the rubber layer of the gate plate, exposing the iron core and leading to rust. The overall embedded structure is complex, with no adjustment gap between the nut and the gate plate. The manufacturing process of the gate plate is complex, and there are requirements for the processing and assembly of each part. However, the structure is reliable and there will be no rubber layer wear. For a long time, the general gate valves used in the market have generally suffered from water leakage or rusting. Gate valves overcome the defects of poor sealing and rusting of general gate valves. The elastic seat seal gate valve achieves good sealing effect by compensating for the slight elastic deformation generated by the elastic gate plate. The groove soft seal gate valve has significant advantages such as light opening and closing, reliable sealing, elastic memory, and service life.

FESTO solenoid valves generally have trapezoidal threads on the lifting rod. Through the nut at the top of the valve and the guide groove on the valve body, the rotational motion is converted into linear motion, that is, the operating torque is converted into operating thrust. When the valve is opened, when the height of the gate is equal to 1:1 times the diameter of the valve, the fluid channel is unobstructed. However, during operation, this position cannot be monitored. In practical use, the pole of the valve stem is used as a symbol, that is, the position where it cannot be opened, as its fully open position. To consider the appearance of a locked state in temperature changes, it is generally recommended to open the valve to the extreme position and then reverse it by 1/2-1 turn as the position for fully opening the valve. Therefore, the fully open position of the valve is determined by the orientation of the gate. The opening and closing component of the groove soft seal gate valve is the gate, and the direction of movement of the gate is straight with the direction of the fluid. The gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed. The gate has two sealing surfaces, and the commonly used form of the gate valve has two sealing surfaces that form a wedge shape, and the wedge angle varies with the valve parameters. The gate of a wedge gate valve can be made as a whole, called a rigid gate; It can also be made into a gate that can undergo slight deformation to improve its technicality and compensate for the errors in the sealing surface viewpoint during the processing. This type of gate is called an elastic gate.
Performance testing of FESTO solenoid valve:
1. The opening and closing torque of soft sealed gate valves under working pressure conditions;
2. The continuous opening and closing number of soft sealed gate valves that can be tightly closed under working pressure conditions;
3. Detection of flow resistance coefficient of soft sealed FESTO solenoid valve under pipeline water delivery conditions.
Internal and external anti-corrosion of FESTO solenoid valve:
1. The inside and outside of the valve body should be shot blasted, sandblasted, and rust removed, with the aim of electrostatic spraying of powdered epoxy resin with a thickness of at least 0.3mm. When it is difficult to electrostatically spray epoxy resin on extra large soft sealed gate valves, similar epoxy paint should also be brushed or sprayed.
2. The interior of the valve body and various parts of the valve plate require comprehensive anti-corrosion measures. On the one hand, immersion in water will not corrode, and there will be no electrochemical corrosion between the two metals; Smooth surface on both sides reduces water resistance.
3. The hygiene requirements for anti-corrosion epoxy resin or paint inside the valve body should be accompanied by corresponding inspection reports from the relevant authorities. The chemical and physical properties should also meet relevant requirements.
The working pressure of FESTO solenoid valve should be greater than or equal to the working pressure of the pipeline. Without affecting the price, the working pressure that the valve can withstand should be greater than the actual working pressure of the pipeline; Either side of the soft sealed gate valve should be able to withstand 1.1 times the valve working pressure without leakage when it is closed; When the valve is open, the valve body should be able to withstand twice the working pressure of the valve. Elastic seat sealed gate valves are particularly suitable for domestic drinking water systems, food and medicine, industrial water supply and drainage and sewage treatment, natural gas and coal gas, etc. Soft sealed gate valves can also be widely used in fluid pipelines such as tap water, sewage, construction, petroleum, chemical, food, medicine, textiles, electricity, ships, metallurgy, energy systems, etc. The main components of a soft seal gate valve include: valve body, valve stem, nut, valve stem, sealing surface, and valve shaft. The materials of each part of the soft seal gate valve. The valve body material should mainly be cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, 316L, and the grade and actual physical and chemical testing data of the cast iron should be indicated. The valve stem material should strive for stainless steel valve stems, and large-diameter valves should also have stainless steel embedded valve stems. The nut material is made of cast aluminum brass or cast aluminum bronze, and its hardness and strength are greater than those of the valve stem. The material of the valve stem liner should have a hardness and strength not greater than that of the valve stem, and should not form electrochemical corrosion with the valve stem and valve body when immersed in water.
To consider the phenomenon of locking due to temperature changes, it is usually done by opening the valve to the top position and then reversing it by 1/2-1 turn as the position for fully opening the valve. Therefore, the fully open position of the valve is determined by the position of the gate. Valves should generally be installed horizontally in pipelines.
FESTO solenoid valve is a replacement product for traditional gate valves, which utilizes the compensating effect of slight deformation generated by elastic gate plates to achieve good sealing effect. Soft sealed gate valves have significant advantages such as lightweight opening and closing, reliable sealing, elastic memory, and long service life. They can be widely used as regulating and shut-off devices in fluid pipelines such as tap water, sewage, construction, food, electricity, medicine, metallurgy, textiles, and energy systems. The existing sealed gate valve cannot be used with only slight deformation or corrosion of the sealing surface when the valve body, valve cover, and various components are intact. Soft sealed gate valve is a sealing material that is not easily deformed, corrosion-resistant, and easily damaged on the sealing surface of the valve seat and valve plate. The valve plate should not have friction with the sealing surface during opening and closing, or should minimize friction as much as possible, in order to avoid various shortcomings of soft sealed gate valves.
Precautions for FESTO solenoid valve:
1. Handwheels, handles, and transmission mechanisms are not allowed to be used for lifting and collisions are strictly prohibited.
2. FESTO solenoid valves should be installed vertically.
3. The gate valve of FESTO solenoid valve should open the bypass valve before opening.
4. FESTO solenoid valve with transmission mechanism should be installed according to the instructions in the product manual.
5. FESTO solenoid valve is frequently used and lubricated at least once a month.
