DC resistance testerIt is mainly used to measure the DC resistance of transformer windings. This job is very important and cannot be ignored, but many people do not know what this step is for. Today, I will talk about the purpose of using a DC resistance tester to measure the DC resistance of transformer windings. What are the purposes of doing this job

1. Check the welding quality of the internal wires and leads of the winding;

2. Check whether the contact of each position of the tap changer is good;

3. Check for any broken windings or lead wires;

4. Check the correctness of the parallel branch and whether there is a situation where the winding formed by several parallel wires has one or several broken wires;

5. Check for short circuits between layers and turns.
