MEMS sensors are generally sensor systems that integrate micro mechanical and microelectronic functions, manufactured using silicon-based materials and semiconductor integrated circuit manufacturing processes. They are often used in military fields and environments with high anti-interference requirements.

At present, the MEMS industry in China is still in its infancy, and the main suppliers competing in the Chinese market are still multinational corporations. Especially for sensor products, almost all of them are imported from abroad, with 90% of the chips relying on foreign countries.
