Steps for pesticide residue analyzer to detect pesticide residues
Date: 2023-08-03Read: 13

The problem of pesticide residues has always been an important constraint on modern agricultural production in China. The emergence of pesticide residue problems is due to the excessive use of pesticides during the growth process of agricultural products, with some pesticides scattered in soil, air, and water, and others remaining on crop skins. Pesticide residues remaining in the environment will be absorbed by crops, increasing the amount of pesticide residues in agricultural products.

The pesticide residue analyzer can quickly detect pesticide residues and intuitively understand the pesticide residue content of agricultural products. The CSY series pesticide residue analyzer from Shenfen Instrument can effectively help us screen food with excessive pesticide residues, protecting our physical health from harm.

Instrument function:

1. Operating system: Android 9.0 operating system;

2. Operating memory: 2GB;

3. Instrument storage: 16GB (memory supports expansion up to 128GB);

4. Screen: 7-inch color LCD touch screen;

5. Detection channel: 10 channels;

6. Wavelength range: 412nm ± 2nm;

7. Absorption range: 0.000~4.000ABS;

8. Colorimetric dish: 10 × 10mm standard sample cell;

9. Testing criteria: Agricultural Standard Methods (NY/T 448-2001), National Standard (GB/T5009.199-2003);

10. Operation video: The instrument is equipped with built-in operation videos and supports voice playback function;

11. Intelligent detection: simultaneous or independent detection of control and sample, sample compatibility for single channel or multi-channel simultaneous detection;

12. Comparison and Save: Supports comparison and save function, users only need to do one comparison and post detection, which greatly improves operational efficiency.

The following are the detection methods for pesticide residue detectors:

(1) Blank control test:

1. Take a colorimetric bottle, use the corresponding pipette to aspirate the corresponding reagent, and add it to the colorimetric bottle in the following order: add 100uL of enzyme - add 2.5mL of buffer - add 100uL of color reagent - shake well and let stand for 10 minutes - add 100uL of substrate

2. Shake the colorimetric bottle about 5 times and pour it into the colorimetric dish. Place the colorimetric dish into the selected channel of the instrument, click the "Compare" button, and the screen will display the comparison value.

(2) Sample testing:

1. Weigh 2.0g of sample (size 1cm square) and place it in a sample cup. Add 10mL of buffer solution and shake for 2 minutes for extraction; Filtering, the filtrate is the sample extraction solution.

2. Take another colorimetric bottle, use the corresponding pipette to aspirate the corresponding reagent, and add it to the colorimetric bottle in the following order: add 100uL of enzyme - add 2.5mL of extraction solution - add 100uL of color reagent - shake well and let stand for 10 minutes - add 100uL of substrate

3. Shake the colorimetric bottle about 5 times and pour it into the colorimetric dish. Place the colorimetric dish into the selected channel of the instrument, click the "Detect" button, and the screen will display the sample results.

(3) Result judgment: Calculate the inhibition rate according to the following formula: inhibition rate (%)=[(Δ Α 0- Δ Α t)/Δ Α 0] × 100. When using a pesticide residue analyzer for detection, the inhibition rate can generally be automatically calculated. If the inhibition rate of the sample is ≥ 50%, it indicates that the pesticide residue in the sample exceeds the standard and is a positive result. Samples with positive results need to undergo two or more repeated tests. If multiple tests still show positive results, further confirmation with a pesticide residue analyzer is required.
