What does green laboratory refer to?
Laboratories are the base of scientific research, the source of technological development, and an important carrier for implementing innovation driven development strategies. In the new stage of development, the development of laboratories should not only increase in scale and quantity, but also improve quality and efficiency. Implementing the concept of green development and building green laboratories have become important directions for the future development of laboratories.
Referring to the characteristics of "low construction cost, fast construction period, energy conservation and emission reduction, easy maintenance, easy upgrading and transformation, and meeting diversified needs" proposed by the International Association of Sustainable Development Laboratories, green laboratories should have basic features such as "safety, high quality, high efficiency, environmental protection, energy conservation, harmony, sharing, and sustainability".
Specifically, this can be reflected in the following aspects:
1. Resource conservation: Emphasize the effective utilization of resources, reduce waste and consumption.
2. Environmental protection: Take effective measures to reduce laboratory pollution and damage to the environment.
3. High quality and efficiency: Emphasis is placed on the high quality and efficiency of the experimental process, using scientific methods and advanced equipment to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the experiment.
4. Sustainable development: Focus on long-term development, adopt sustainable technologies and equipment, and reduce the impact on the future environment.
5. Flexibility and Openness: Green laboratories emphasize flexibility and openness, and the laboratory space and equipment can be flexibly configured and adjusted as needed to meet diverse experimental needs.

How can low field nuclear magnetic resonance promote the construction of green laboratories?
Low field nuclear magnetic resonance technology plays an indispensable role in the construction of green laboratories due to its green and environmentally friendly characteristics, accurate data, fast and non-destructive testing, and low cost. This technology can not only provide accurate analysis, but also help achieve rapid and non-destructive detection of samples, reduce experimental time and cost, and improve experimental efficiency; At the same time, low field nuclear magnetic resonance technology does not require the use of harmful chemicals, reducing the waste and pollutants generated during the experimental process, thereby greatly reducing the impact on the environment during the experimental process; And compared to traditional methods, low field nuclear magnetic resonance technology requires less sample size, which helps to save resources and reduce waste.
Application case of Neway low field nuclear magnetic resonance in green laboratory construction:
1. Testing of resin content in composite materials

(1) Establish a standard curve in the instrument using 3-5 resin samples of known content. When the sample to be tested is placed in the instrument, the instrument will automatically collect the signal of the resin and input the signal quantity into the marking line, thereby automatically calculating the measured quality of the resin.
(2) Non destructive: The sample does not require pre-treatment and can be retested
(3) Environmental Protection: In situ sample detection, no need to add any chemical reagents, more environmentally friendly compared to traditional methods
(4) Precision: Avoiding errors caused by high temperatures or chemical reagents, directly testing resin content, with a correlation of up to 99.99% between test signal quantity and resin content markings
Laboratory equipment: Neway Resin Content Analyzer PQ001

2. Oil application rate detection of chemical fibers

Compared to traditional organic solvent extraction methods, it does not require the use of chemical reagents and can be detected in situ, achieving energy conservation and environmental protection.
Laboratory equipment: Neway Fiber Oil Rate Analyzer

Neway won the "China Laboratory Green Technology Contribution Award"
