Precautions for transportation and storage of cables

1. The cable packaging reel should be kept intact to avoid any possible mechanical damage. At the same time, the cable packaging reel should not be placed flat, and its side panel should always be kept perpendicular to the ground. It is strictly prohibited to push the cable reel directly off the vehicle.

2. Before rolling and lifting the cable reel, it should be checked whether the cable reel is intact and secure, and whether the cables on the reel are loose and exposed.

3. The rolling cable reel should rotate in the correct direction indicated on the cable, and should not roll in the opposite direction.

4. Cables should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse, and should not be stacked outdoors or exposed to sunlight.

Precautions for cable installation and laying

1. Before laying the cable, the certificate of conformity of the cable should be checked, and its model, voltage, specifications, and length should all meet the requirements. Different cables should not be used interchangeably. At the same time, check the appearance of the cable for any mechanical damage such as crushing or flattening, as well as aging phenomena such as cracking on the surface of the sheath.

2. When taking cables from the cable reel, the method of "rotating and laying out the cable reel" should be used. The cable reel should not be tilted, and the cable should be turned down one circle at a time. After dividing the cable, both ends should be sealed in a timely manner.
