Metal tube float flowmeter, also known as metal tube rotor flowmeter, is suitable for complex working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and corrosive media. It can measure the flow rate of liquids, gases, and steam.

working principle

When the fluid passes through a conical metal tube from bottom to top, the float is subjected to fluid dynamics, buoyancy, and gravity. When the three are balanced, the float stabilizes at a certain position, and the float position is proportional to the flow rate. The float displacement is converted into an electrical signal or pointer indication through magnetic coupling or mechanical connection.
