Current limiting instructions for 120kV/2mA DC high voltage generator:

1. The current limiting resistor function of the DC high-voltage generator is to limit the current when the test sample breaks down or flashes, so as not to damage the testing equipment.

2. When using, simply screw the M10 nut on one end of the current limiting resistor to the top of the double pressure cylinder of the DC high voltage generator and onto the bolt of the high voltage output line. If you want to connect a high-voltage microampere meter in series, the carbon monoxide detector only needs to screw the M10 nut at the bottom of the microampere meter onto the other end of the current limiting resistor.

If a 120kV/2mA DC high voltage generator is used and the test samples are zinc oxide lightning arresters, valve type lightning arresters, and high voltage switches, current limiting resistors can be omitted. For small current and small capacitance samples, current limiting resistors are not necessary.

4. Large capacitance test samples such as power cables, transformers, and motors should be tested by serially connecting current limiting resistors in the high-voltage circuit to protect the testing equipment.
